  1. Thanks for the replies. I managed to pick up the riser kit for the 4wd spare wheel, polystyrene pads and the carpet from a well known auction site! It was from a Skoda dealer near me so drove over this morning and picked it up, fits perfectly just need to pack out the gap where the spare wheel would sit. Hopefully now the pooch will settle in the car as she can see outside and we can see her too
  2. I have a space saver spare wheel and its 2wd . Haven't heard of the riser kit though??? Thanks
  3. Hi. Just wondering if anyone has fitted the variable boot floor from the ateca into their karoq with vario flex seats? Really want to raise the boot floor in our karoq as our dog can't see over the seats when she's in the boot as the floor is so low Thanks
  4. If it's far then I use Autoglym tar remover and it works pretty well👍
  5. Well as per the title really. We have a moon white Karoq and I've done an iron fallout remover with autoglym magma, and then clay barred. Then polished with dodo juice lime prime with DAS6 pro topped with Autoglym UHD wax but can,t get the flake to 'pop' like I normally can😓 it doesn't really look like metallic paint until you get right up close Just wondering if any one else has had better results???
  6. I ordered a snow foam lance for my Nilfisk and I just emailed the pics same as you have to the company and they told me what I needed. 👍 Saved me from buying the wrong one and having to wait for a few more days before running around the car like a big kid!😁
  7. Thanks everyone. Had the built in sat nav in my mk2 monte but might save the £500 this time!
  8. Hi. Mrs cb40 and I are thinking of ordering a Monte Carlo and are wondering whether to add Sat nav as an option or just use the smartlink option with our android auto phone. We don't need Sat nav everyday just for going away on holiday etc. What are people's thoughts on the smartlink? How easy is it to use? Can you program a destination while driving along using the radio screen like you can with Sat nav, or do you really have to stop and program it with the phone Thanks
  9. I would check your tyres haven't 'feathered' ? My rear dunlops did this and the road noise was awful
  10. Mrs CB40 has a 2012 elegance on 14inch wheels and the ride is very soft and compliant I have a 2016 'facelift' elegance on the 15 inch wheels and rde is definitely firmer but not crashy and harsh like my 2012 fabia monte carlo
  11. I meant couldnt barely tell the difference between 60 and 75 hp citigo. Both are a lot slower than my old fabia. Lol!
  12. I just traded my Fabia 1.6tdi 105 for a 60ps, drove both and could barely tell the difference.
  13. Well I picked up my new SEL at the weekend. I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 but it won't run the app, my wife has the J5 which works so if I want the Sat Nav looks like I will have to upgrade my phone...
  14. Swmbo has the elegance, and the heated seats and mirrors are so good in the winter months. Those two things alone are not available on a monte so I would definitely go for function over form! Her citigo elegance is so good I am seriously considering part exing my diesel fabia monte for one!
