Its 2016. I thought there might be a way to use the speed limit info from the gps rather than using the camera to detect them?

I'm sure I've seen this asked before but can't find it now... My car doesn't have the lane assist camera, but is there a way to show the current speed limit from the GPS map on the multi-function display?

Forgot to ask, am I right in thinking there's no need for any coding if I'm just swapping screens?

Resurrecting an old topic, but... Can i retrofit a FL 9.2" screen (5E0919606D) in place of my pre-FL Amundson MIB2?

Just to close this out, I've got the diesel undertray fitted in place of the short petrol type tray. £50 all in, and I'm much happier now the plastic sump and temp sensor is better protected. Cheers for the help.

Looking at another forum there doesnt seem to be a cover under the EA888 engines? I'll jack the car up when I get time and have a closer look

That makes sense thanks. It probably doesnt show very well in the photo but i was surprised how low it loops down close to the ground.

I happened to look underneath my car today after its service and spotted a hose hanging down. It connects just behing the sump then goes back from there. It might be completely normal but I've never noticed it before. Can anyone confirm? Thanks

Yep, sorry I was a bit vague in the first post. I bought an approved used car from a Skoda main dealer. It had ~6 months remaining on the original warranty from new when I bought it, but the dealer extended that 12 months from the date I purchased it. It's been serviced according to manufacturer's guidelines as far as I can tell, but I only have the electronic record. I'm not sure if it's on fixed or variable but will check. Thanks for clarifying the intervals, very helpful. Useful link to the extended warranty options too

Interesting comments. It seems a bit like insurance - if there's a n excuse or loophole which means the warranty can be voided then they will do so. What's frustrating is that I'd trust the independent specialist more than the main dealer, especially given the way I was treated when buying the car from Skoda in the first place. I suppose I can stick to main dealer service for 1 year and then decide to change after that period if needed. Hopefully I won't have to call on the warranty anyway, but you never know!

Looking for some advice... I recently bought a mk3 octavia estate and was given 1 years' manufacturing warranty from the skoda dealer. I'd like to get my local independent VAG specialist to give it a service, new oil etc soon for peace of mind. Question is, if they service it should they update the electronic service record? Would it affect the warranty?

I've got an LG G6 and failed to make it connect reliably with android auto (Octavia mk3 (2016), Amundsen MIB2). I've read numerous posts on this forum and others that this particular phone doesn't work well with AA. So... can anyone recommend either an alternative decent android phone that works well with AA, or a cheap second phone? Thanks.

Hi all, been a member for a while. Just about to trade in my second Octavia (mk2 fl) for a mk3 and cant wait. Bit of a long shot but I'm trying to track down whoever used to own the mk3 black tsi estate (reg ending PVJ), probably in the Hampshire/Dorset area.
