Sorry to drag this one out again, but I've just been given an S3 and I'm trying to pair it in my 2010 Elegance (although the Columbus is 2013). Phone is GT-I8190N; Android 4.1.2. The h/u finds the phone; the phone finds the h/u on rSAP, but when I try to connect on the maxidot, I just get 'the mobile phone is not compatible', and when I try to pair from the phone I get 'unable to pair'. I get a screen sometimes to enter a code, but, of course, the maxidot gives me no code to enter. I have no SIM lock code. Any suggestions gratefully received.

I sometimes hear a soft click at low speeds when it's quiet in the car. I just assumed it was the clutch engaging or disengaging.

I think I'd look for a decent locksmith, if I were you. They can get into most things frighteningly easily.

I love almost everything except how you switch the DRLs on and off. Why couldn't they just have a switch?

Make sure the Columbus radio/satnav/parking sensor display is working. Skoda price for a new one is £2000+, so that's a good bargaining chip if it's bricked. (You can buy replacements cheaper elsewhere.) New timing belt and fuel pump will set you back around £450 if it's not been done yet.

Goodyear Efficientgrip performance. After researching, just had 4 fitted and it was like driving a different car. Tyre fitter, unprompted, said they were the best tyre on the market.
