Got the exact same error on mine. Mostly when it´s warmer outside like now. Works most of the times in the winter. Have an error on the hall sensor in one of the struts. Don´t know exactly what this do or measure/controls. Have a strange sound from both of the struts but as long as they work I will just let it be. Start to think it has something to do with the pin it lockes against (in the both opening and not on the tailgate. It makes a small movement when opened/closed. Maybe if it´s delayed or doesn´t move fast enough to find correct position quick enough.

I have a problem with the Skoda connect app (and the connect webpage). The car reports info to the app when i lock/unlock (status for doors, windows etc) but when i try to do a manual refresh i get an error message. If i try to use the aux heater in the app i get constant errors and i cant use it. Since the status updates when i lock/unlock the car the connection to the servers is working. Have tried to delete/reregister my car uninstalled/installed the app check/uncheck the private mode The Skoda support (in Sweden) is not so fast to answer so I try here to see if anybody else has the same problem and have a solution.

I change from having both touch and tap activated to just tap and now it works 👍

I have now figured out it stops after xx seconds and not at a certain point/angle. Anyone that has activated this function and has the same problem?

Just go to https://updateportal.skoda-auto.com/ and download the map you want. I prefer to use Waze through Android Auto

I have this unit in my Octavia 2018. Can someone please send a link to the update (if there is one). What is the main benefits of upgrading? Is it mostly bugfixes or can there be new functions? Why isn´t the online-update working (got an error-message)?

I have a Octavia 1.0TSI 2018 I have activated the function (with OBD11) so I´m able to close the tailgate from the key fob and the button in the car. My problem is that when i do it from the key fob it stops after approx. 50%. If i press the key again it starts to open. So i have to push it quickly one time, then press and hold and the tailgate closes. The button in the car works perfektly. I have tried both key fobs and to be close to the car but it is always the same. Anyone that have the same problem or have a solution?
