Hi all. Just had the air on regassed as it wasn’t blowing cold air.... 300g odd taken out and 500g odd put back in but still no cold air!! checked fuses which are all ok and reset flaps on climatronic unit to no avail. I can’t seem to locate the relay for the aircon. Does anyone know where this is. I cannot hear any clicking when I switch the aircon on or off so I’m hoping that’s all it is..... any advice would be appreciate. Thank you.

Thanks Declan. Car went back for some bits under warranty as Ive only had it a month. Asked them to look at it as I wasn't sure. They've fixed the twisted seatbelt and sat nav but also went in as the front heated seats Wernt working properly. Drivers side not at all and passenger side just the back worked. Now I have a heated drivers seat base and the back on the passenger side still 😥 annoying as I love the car......

hi everyone. I have a 2012 superb estate. It's the 2.0 tdi elegance dsg and ever since owning it, I've noticed that the heaters blow cool air until the climatronic is set to high. It's been in the garage for some warranty work and they've said they can't find any faults. Is this normal? I had it on 25 degrees when I took it there and it was still cool. Engine temp was at 90degrees and had been driving for 170 miles so well up to temperature. Any advice would be appreciated. TIA.

Thanks rustynuts. It's going back to the guy who supplied it unfortunately as the front heated seats don't work and the sat Nav issue. Pita as its a tgree and a bit hours drive away and I'll probably have to get a train home and then vice versa when it's fixed 🙄 lovely car though. Well pleased bar these faults.

Same here. Just brought my superb 2 3 weeks ago and already found that both front heated seats don't work and now my sat Nav is showing me in Germany....... Has anyone tried taking the ariel base off and cleaing it? Surely it must be a connection issue that end perhaps causes by water ingress? Sat Nav was working fine for a couple of weeks until we had some heavy downpours.

Fella. I had the same with mine. Have you looked at the oil breather pipes? Replaced mine a month ago and not had the code since!

My apologies if this is already on a thread..... if it is and someone could point me in the right direction, id be most grateful I have posted in the ICE section but no replies as yet.. I have recently bought a 2002 vrs and am looking to put an after market alarm system on. Does anyone have the wiring diagrams / locations for the central locking on the car please. Ive gound some of my old bits for a 99MY but the colours are all different. Also, whether or not it is positive or negative pulsed? I would ideally like to do total closure off the alarm (why that wasn't standard :0( ) Ive had a prod around a bit today but didn't want to damage anything..... Any help would be appreciated. Hi all. Loving my first Octavia vRS...... Have brought one of the total closure mods off ebay and wondering if anyone has already done the mod and knew the wiring colours to save me some probing..... If not, ill post my findings when I get chance. Cheers Ian
