Haggis hunter

It's a 62 plate vrs, it's done 11k miles. I've had a new seat base and 3 wheels on warranty, no other work done. It's started abut more oil lately but I've not got the figures to hand. I put 750mls in it recently after only just topping it up 600 miles previously.

Service manager, I'm waiting on an email back so I've got it in black and white before I start an argument. 0.5 L per 621 miles is ridiculously high 1L per 621 miles is laughable!

I broached the subject of oil consumption too. The dealer has told me it can use 1L per 621 miles which is total crap. If that's the case I could be putting 32 L in it between services!

They've pretty much done what you've said for the major service. £239 seemed rather expensive though

Evening all, what would you expect to be done at the first service (car is on variable intervals) and how much should it cost? Thanks

Yours looks the other way round from shark riders and mine, if mine went on the same way as yours it would have fouled the exhaust. Al

It doesnt matter what shape they are. It must be a slight hint to motorists that more and more cars have these new fangled inventions. I think DRLs are a great idea. I wonder what your insurance company will say if you have an accident and they're turned off? My car has them and they will remain on, as per the law. People should keep upto date with the Highway Code. al

The new Clio has the worst positioned and brightest drls I've seen so far. I haven't passed one at night yet. al
