Hi I've done a search but can't seem to find anything. Has anyone here ordered the superskoda off-road sills for their yeti? I am just wondering the quality vs the OEM ones. Superskodas pictures aren't the best.
Cheers in advance

Well spotted that man!!! Lol. Traffic was a nightmare on my way home from work so I took a little detour up over knockagh to test out the new tyres. Well it was rude not too lol.

Nice idea. Doesn't work for reverse though!!

I can fit my road bike in the back with just the middle seat removed and the front wheel off the bike. I have the spare wheel and it creates a nice wee lip for the chainset to rest against. I slide the two rear seats closer to the middle which stops the bike moving to much. I have to say I'm very impressed how easily it is to fit the bike in this way. Nice and beat and no faffing around.

Phew thought I was being hyper sensitive.
Good point you make about the seat bases and foam not directly on top of the floor pan to insulate the noise.

I have owned the yeti since August, just recently I've noticed the noise of the fuel sloshing about the tank more than normal. I always fill the tank up and let it run down before refuelling.
It's been years since I've heard the fuel sloshing around the tank in another car. The tank at the minute is just under 3/4 full.
Anyone else noticed this or is it just my super sensitive hearing?

Health to drive :-)

I would of went with the contis if they were in the same price bracket as the nokians and vredestein. For the money I don't think the nokians can be beat, that's why I ordered them.

Looking good. Tempted to spray mine black too, once I get them cleaned up.

Work sucks!!! Lol. Is Yosemite park open again? I had read that the park was still closed.
We are debating a wee yeti adventure next weekend around Skye and the west coast, that is if the ferry company's have any decent offers going :-)

Don't know if "My Tyres" deliver to N/Ireland but they have v/ good prices.
I contacted them as I found their web site bit a confusing but had a job to understand the young lady on the phone ,so e-mailed them told them tyre and rim size I wanted.
They e-mailed a reply a couple of days later with quite a large choice all at very good prices and none of them was mentioned on their website lists probably new stock for winter.
Just a pity that I ordered the previous day from Rainworths.
Cheers 7029bob I shall give them a try

Bit over the top that price, I paid £125 per corner for the same Hankook and that included the steel rim from Rainworths.
Yeah I know hence me looking to buy tyres online

I was thinking of doing the same and buying via oponeo then getting them fitted locally. My local tyre place I has the hankook w310 for £100 a corner which I think is a bit steep.

I've bought a set of 2nd hand Audi alloys off eBay ('Artis' type according to the website linked to above) and then bought a set of Vredestein Xtreme Wintrac (215/60/16 99H) from Oponeo. I went for the Vredestein's based on local recommendation and online reviews - ordered last Thursday and arrived today.
Splooter how did you get on with opoeno? What's your views on the vreds as tyres?
-
Oh decisions decisions.
-
I got the audi sport alloys off an a4 16 7j et45 which is spot on for the yeti.
This is a great side with info on all audi oem wheels. http://www.myturbodiesel.com/1000q/wheels/15-16-audi-wheels-5x112.htm
Looks like everyone is going for the nokians then :-)

Hi all.
Managed to pick up a bargain set of audi alloys that match the yeti recommended sizes.
I'm looking to fit some winter tyres 215 60 16 and I'm stuck between the vredestein winter xtreme and the nokian wr d3. The nokians seem to have slightly better wet weather performance, both are roughly the same price. Just wondering if there are any fans of either of these tyres that could share their views.
Thanks

You've good taste Marie. The matterhorns would look nice though not sure how the diamond cut sections would stand up to the winter salt on the road :-(. How are you finding the drive with the nokians?
-
OUCH!!!! They are already pretty steep at nearly£60 per rim. Hence me looking at used alloys

Thanks for your reply. I know that they are just decorative. I was wanting to find out what the quality was like if it was similar to the OEM part or thinner and not as well matched to the reflex silver front and rear trims.
