  1. Go for the aux heater, I have it on the RS Tdi it's just fine to get in a pre heated car, also the durability from the engine will better as the wear is less for a heated engine. It is a Webato heater. Only the interface to program is bad, you have to activate EVERY day for the next day shame on you VAG???
  2. Think about Plastidip I'm very happy with it
  3. It is also possible to acces the indicator bulb with this I made it with a hole saw 44mm rotating by hand and as you see succesfully Small hands is a pro Here some info about leds front and rear indicator , sorry but in Dutch http://www.skodaforum.nl/forum/i/octavia-3-combi-elegance-2-0tdi-dsg-race-blue.23158/page-6
  4. On my vRS the towbar from bumper to end of the protection cap 10,5cm Towbar is easy to remove, RTFM link to the manual http://new.skoda-auto.com/en/mini-apps/owners-manuals/octavia
  5. If you have the ACC and remove the bumper the ACC radar needs to be recalibrated, maybe think to Plastidip the grill.
  6. Nice try, but too big on my oppinion. Will try to make a bigger picture of my wing badge I like the Pictoris wheels with the black paint, nice.
  7. Coming/leaving home function , enable, disable, change timing in setup.
  8. Seats are only seating and back area nomore and quality is not as high as VW but it's not the same price, i'm a little disapointed about the quality Pocket no leather.
  9. This could help http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/299424-octavia-iii-vcds-adaptations-tried-and-tested/
  10. They came off easily just some narrow space to release the 4 bolts from the end tip.
  11. Leave the key in the car while washing or far enough outside the car.
  12. The exhaust ends are stainless steel (not magnetic) I plastidipped the ends, no problem with the heat for 3 months now.
  13. If you succeed to retrofit the ACC you need the dealer as the radar must be calibrated, most Skoda dealers don't invest (not mandatory for Skoda well for VW) in the equipment, mostly done by a VW dealer, here in B the ACC is standard on the G7 from the level confortline.
  14. Now I have the standard, but bad experience with some chinese brands, it was deformed by the heat and the demanded power was not above specs.
  15. Alternative filter from Mann + manual http://catalog.mann-filter.com/media/einbauanleitung/HBwW2Wyu.pdf
  16. I had the chance my Skoda dealer is also a VW dealer and had the equipment, here in Belgium the G7 has standard the ACC from the comfortline level, so the VW dealers need the radar calibrate equipment as many cars have this option.
  17. I had ordered the nets and double floor but de dealer didn't knew is was not compatible...... See my temp solution, i have some ideas to improve
  18. No problem to wheel hop with TDI and DSG, till TC is coming in takes a little time.
  19. Nice one of the best I've seen as the edge is protected, most don't..
  20. Go for the ACC but only with the DSG not worth with the manual gear box. Be aware as cars who are halted befor the radar can detect (within the range) the car will not be detected by the radar only cars on the move within the detection range are detected. The first days I tought it would detect a halted car on the traffic lights but nope I got the three options and go for it, the parkassist will be very helpfull for parking on the left side as we on the continent are not used to park that way.
  21. If you go for the ACC option it's a must to take the DSG, I'm pleased with both on my vRS
