  1. Thanks for the update 👍
  2. Hi Clap0005, Have you had any further problems with your seat since the new base was fitted? Regards AK
  3. The other key is not a remote fob, just a basic key.
  4. Thanks for your comments, I have never oiled the lock, and the boot is only opened by the remote key fob. I have checked for water ingress and can see no signs of this. The boot release handle appears to work fine.
  5. Thanks for the comment. I have checked the boot release handle and that is fine, the lock works well. Its just when you lock the car with the remote, after about 10 secs the book lock unlock its self.
  6. I have had this problem on our last 2 Mk2 Fabia's. Our 2014 SE, unlocks the boot after about 10 sec's and sets the alarm off, which I have had to disarm. I have checked all the wiring, can see no problems, removed and cleaned all the connection points, no signs of any water getting in which now is s common problem. Can anyone suggest anything please?
  7. I have noticed that both of the front fog/DRL’s are badly misted up on the inside. The nearside one is so bad that the water is building up in the lens. I have been unable to find any other comments about this, is the common and does anyone know how to stop this happening??
  8. With ours you could feel it trying to pull to the left all the time and if you let go of the wheel it was quite severe. (This was on a quiet road, just to see how bad it was, before anyone comments on letting go of the steering wheel)
  9. It may be worth asking them to check out the wheel alignment. Did you buy the car from a Skoda dealer? if so this should have been checked before purchase!!
  10. Agree with Nogster, take it to your local Skoda dealer. Do not be fobbed off with “they all do that” this is a known problem and also get Skoda UK involved, they also know that this is a problem affecting VRS & Monte's. Best of luck.
  11. It should not have come to this, but you have done the right thing. Best of look with the Yeti. :sun:
  12. I would try contacting Auto Express as well as they know about this problem.
  13. If you have given them 3 or more chances to fix the problem without success and SUK have been involved, then its time to see if others can help you. Good luck
  14. If you are having problems with your dealer & SUK, try taking it up with Auto Express, they have already help on Monte owner with the pulling to the left issue.
  15. Also have a look at:- http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/260271-my-monte-carlo-is-pulling-to-the-left-help/ The issue has been covered by Auto Express.
