The other key is not a remote fob, just a basic key.

Thanks for your comments, I have never oiled the lock, and the boot is only opened by the remote key fob. I have checked for water ingress and can see no signs of this. The boot release handle appears to work fine.

Thanks for the comment. I have checked the boot release handle and that is fine, the lock works well. Its just when you lock the car with the remote, after about 10 secs the book lock unlock its self.

I have had this problem on our last 2 Mk2 Fabia's. Our 2014 SE, unlocks the boot after about 10 sec's and sets the alarm off, which I have had to disarm. I have checked all the wiring, can see no problems, removed and cleaned all the connection points, no signs of any water getting in which now is s common problem. Can anyone suggest anything please?
