  1. Must admit that after years of using Amundsen sat nav in a number of Skodas I'm now preferring Google on my screen via the phone. For a start the voice control is so much bette and more precise, the vioce actually speaks good english and I can tell what she says ! The Skoda voice well?? I do prefer the Amundsen screen layout to the Google but Google is so much better when on the move and you can tell it where you want to go in plain language and it will do it.
  2. If you have flex seats it's easy to do to fit 2 bikes if not I dont know, I have flex seats and remove all the seats, remove front wheels on 2 MTBs fit a piece of wood with cut outs between the seat posts and use 2 buckle straps from the tie down points around the seat posts and they are realy secure. If I didn't have Flexy seating I would use a tailgate carrier, ( last resort )
  3. I had mine replaced by Auto Windscreens and apart from breaking the backing for the rear view mirror which they sorted ! all was and still is good.

    Am I thick?

I have a 18 reg and as far as I know you must use the card Skoda provided, I updated mine some weeks ago no problems.
  5. I took out the All In One around the end of November 2021 by the end of February 22 I wouldn't have paid in as much as it cost for the service or MOT but other than any none covered work I paid nothing. Last service MOT was this February and I'm still paying £25 per month untill Oct/Nov when it expires, then I will see what happens regarding any over / under payment and wether or not to renew it. I did get new door locks and an ignition switch done under All in One. So happy with that.
  6. Rory. what's done is done, I do intend keeping the car as it suits our needs at this time. Dont want an all electric and at 77 I will just bide my time and see what life brings. If we keep our good health for driving and our outdoor hobby we may get a Honda Jazz as a hybrid it looks good and seems to have space and good reviews. Nothing in the Skoda camp of interest to me as far as hybrid.
  7. My 5 year old 2ltr TDi failed due to disc rusting in March with 32,000 miles on it. I also have the all in one package, I took it to a local garage for new discs and pads, cost around £190 then my dealer did the retest to pass it. I had had the cam belt done at the same time!! so a big bill would have been even bigger had the dealer done the discs.
  8. It was simple on the 2018 SEL. Pull the little switch on top of the LH stalk that activates the cruise control then press the button on the lower side of the stalk to change to limiter and toggle the speed you want.
  9. Yes had my 2Ltr TDi 4x4 cambelt done in March at 32,100 miles with water pump and tensioners for £779. Done at recommended 5 year. Now feel I have been had,
  10. Then carry a spare battery in your wallet or in the car.
  11. I had a chip about as big as a match head repaired a couple of years ago, It didn't last and had to have a new screen, it was done by Auto windscreens and all was ok after. a 2018 SEL 4x4
  12. It's a well known fault!! I have had my locks replaced at different times under "all in one warranty " so dealers and Skoda are well aware of it .
  13. I got a set when I bought the car in 2018 and can say they are really good, the lip keeps any soggy footwear from mucking up the car and they fit very well. Well worth the price what ever they cost and easy to take out to clean.
  14. New front discs and pads on my 18 reg Karoq £195 at my independent garage. Dealer wanted £460 ish to get it through the MoT at 5 years and 34500 miles !
