Please help. ive had an ongoing issue with the ABS & TCS fault with my 2010 Octavia since April. It's being into my local garage numerous times and still the issue remains. (I'm not get charged for time just parts). the VAGCOM error reports a near side front ABS fault. So far it's had two new sensors, a new wiring loom on that side, a new hub in case the induction ring was knackered. An exchange ABS pump, that threw up another fault which was easily reset. Occasionally that threw up a communication error to the ABS pump. So We,ve refitted the old pump. When you first start the engine it gives a single tone and flashy up the error. the car drives awfully as I can not accelerate passed 2500 revs and there is a distinct lack of power. Before i I throw anymore money at parts can someone please suggest what is causing the issue. And where I go next.

Does anyone know if the Skoda fit detachable ball from a Felicia will fit the factory fit Skoda towbar for the Octavia. As per EEA 600 001.

. I've had a route round and found this on what looks like the tow bar any ideas what it translate to or identifies.

Sounds like I need to get it over a ramp or pit to get underneath properly to see if there is any identification without removing the bumper

It's not so much as rust, but more road grime. I don't think it has ever being used. I can't find any bits in the car that would fit.

I've recently acquired a 2010 Octavia Elegance. I was looking at installing a tow bar so that I can carry the family bikes. On looking under the rear of my vehicle I have come across what looks like an electric socket and parts for a removable hook of a tow. I've included an image in the hope that someone can help me identify which parts I have or have not and what I need to install a tow bar to my car.
