  1. Took a close look on my BLT 06 engine and the bolts for the crankshaft pulley are the VAG 12 point XZN type triple square things and being exposed are quite rusty - got some on the way to remove them but will replace with new ones - N91048802 according to the local Skoda dealer.
  2. What I found out is that VAG apparently use two types of hose end where they fit to the clip in the body..... In cross section they are as shown: By removing the wheel and looking carefully at the end that fits in the clip, you can see the type that you have, either a round which would normally use a 'C' clip or one with a flat that on mine uses a spring clip that is held in place by the flare nut on the brake pipe, with the cutout on the 'D' preventing rotation of the flexible hose. Hope this helps
  3. Beware the ends though - I've been having nightmares with the hoses I got as the ends are round where they fit into the bodywork clip and connect to the steel brake line - and this clip (at least on my VRS) requires a D shaped connector!
