    The final update - job completed. Many thanks to you all for the help and support. Knowing it was required, getting a good price and driving home with no flashing dashboard lights have left me very pleased.
     
    I have attached a couple pictures of the old EGR valve / cooler. It is of no use to me and - unless someone here would like it - I intend to give it to the scrap metal guy. But if you can make use of it then that would be better of course, I'm in South Birmingham.
