  1. What's the current price for gtb 1756? Aiming for 220-240 and already have a gtd downpipe so thinking it's my best bet
  2. Had it with thermostats. Get any hotter as you drive and colder as you slow down?
  3. Did wonder Hahah! It will blow hot if your driving just when you stop it won't! I'm getting coolant flow back into the header tank so wouldn't have thought it was my water pump either?
  4. I've Google it and searched in here and yes there are opinions, but no one has ever reported back as to what the issue was resolved as being. My fabia is always cold when not under load. And isn't really hot hot when driving either but you can put your hand on the blowers and feel them get colder as you slow down to the point of outside temperature blowing in while stationary. I've checked the water pump is pumping I have a good flow back to the header tank. I've had the system bled up as best I could pumped the hoses and had no further air from them I've removed the pipes from the heater matrix and blown though to check for any blockages then refit re bled and no joy None of these have effected it at all. The water isn't very nice at all. Rather brown so will be getting changed Tuesday with proper red coolant and a new stat. Any other culprits for the colour that would benefit a change? And what else is their that would cause my fault? Thanks Sean
  5. So just been out in my pre fl vrs tdi and around 3500-3750 rpm on power there was like a miss? Would have thought the traction cut in but ground dry and no light.happened several times over the journey all the Same rpm. Acts like a slipping clutch quite a severe miss then keeps pulling. Mechanic by trade but dsg is all very new to me.
  6. It does loom like a tornado one. It has an adjustable setting on the box for 10 different modes and I have to say it's made a he'll of a difference xe to the car. Lewwy you are right mind they may aswell have painted it guantanamo orange!
  7. It plugs to rail pressure sensor boost pressure sensor and cam sensor mate
  8. Anyone have any idea what make this is? Bought it used but can't find one like it anywhere
  9. So my 58 dsg octavia didn't have any as standard. I've looked up on Google etc but all I can find is people saying to change the whole wheel. This I understand as you need the paddle mounts but surely there's more involved than just fitting the wheel?
