Hey up!
It's been a while.
What are you driving these days?
it has indeed, how’s tricks?? What have I missed??I’ve gone back to the VAG stable in a 22’ RS3 🙌🙌

Congrats on the new car @Lady Elanore 🙌
My M4 is also long gone, I had a spell in a JCW after an unfortunate incident on the M60 in rain 🙈 and then onto a 2020 M135i (new shape with Carbon everywhere)
then finally I jumped to the other well liked German make (back in a vag)

Owned: My current car, 2022 Audi RS3 Vorsprung Edition… accelerates like nothing you could imagine in the same category, it’s comfy and if you try you get decent mpg (but who’s gonna try that lol)
Driven: My work steed, Supercharged Ariel Atom 3… when I say the RS3 is silly quick, The Atom is something beyond that…. 0-60 in around 2.7 seconds, no bodywork and go kart handling… what’s not to love

Senna Proctor signs for Subaru. Is that Plato out? You have to think that Sutton will drive for BMR as well, there are no other top drives vacant.
Yes it is, He has signed for PMR... A great move into a well established team, can only see good things from the relationship IMO

I was not linking your post as anything against Simpsons, just hoping you could maybe see this thread.
Can you say who did the Oil Consumption Test on your car and did it get the Breather Mod and Software Update,
and can you say where the Engine Replacement was done?
Cant remember tbh... it’s wayyy too long ago for my memory..
the breather mods, updates and replacement engine were done over a 2 week period at Claybank (now Lookers).

Just for the record, I have no ill feeling towards Simpsons... What happened to my car happened a long time ago and occurred over a number of months and dealers...
focus fell onto Simpsons as that was the last dealer the car was at before it went bang.
I wouldn’t let that incident put me off them in future if I ever returned to the Brand.
from my point of view, all is forgotten.

Also, silly question if I may - Who is it that was taking these admittedly-stunning high-definition photos, while you were tumbling your life away, instead of... I dunno... dropping everything and running over to see if you're still breathing, perhaps?
Due to it being on track the Tog wouldn't have been able to get near anyway and likely would have been more of a hindrance to the marshals and medical staff.
I'm sure FWD will confirm though
edit - He's quicker than I am

So the time has come to actually purchase a car
After a number of weeks in varying cars from all walks of life I've finally put pen to paper :yay:
So what have I been driving? It's probably easier to list the cars (theres been a few).
- Fiat 500 Abarth - Nice fun car, but very small for motorway driving.
- Audi A3 1.6TDi - Good car, shame it was manual. Sat Nav quality was shocking
- Ford EcoSport (Not at all Sporty) - What can I say to praise this car? It kept my driving license safe
- BMW M4 (I actually got my car back for a while, using the EcoSport as a gate until it sold )
- Golf GTD - hmmmm
- Bentley Continental GTC - Loved this car, actually had it for 5/6 weeks with a few days break in the middle. the 6.0 W12 is something else.
- Aston Martin DB9 Vantage = They wouldn't let me keep this car If I could buy any of the cars I've driven in the period since mine was stolen, this would be it.
- Bentley Continental GTC - See above
- Range Rover Evoque - I'm actually a fan of the Evoque having delivered a few so was quite happy to take this for a few weeks.
- Nissan Juke - Evoque was booked in for a service and repair on locking issue.
- Range Rover Evoque - Was glad to be back in it after the Juke.
Lets just say I'm a very lucky person to have such trusting friends.
So what have I bought?
Its completely out of character for me but I've bought a Range Rover Sport the same age as my M4 was. I test drove the SVR and whilst that was way out of my price range, the 3.0V6 TDi HSE Dynamic wasn't and I got a very good price.
I'll post some pics once I collect it but I'm happy (for now).

Hi All,
As you probably saw, I treated myself to a new car after having a torrid few months with illness.
Things were going very well until 4 guys (for guys read "scrotes") broke into my house via the patio doors and relieved me of my trusty steed.
Luckily, they found the keys (and my wallet) downstairs and didn't come up to bother me for them .
Even though the car was recovered by tracker, I'm now moving on from the M4 and back into the VAG group (Audi something or other, why don't Skoda do a performance car yet?).
To say I'm going to miss the M4 is an understatement. This was quite easily the best car I have owned to date and would recommend one to anybody who asked.
For now at least, I'm out and in loaners from my trusty dealership.
