  1. Evening all. As we rapidly approaching our UK return I've one last job to get the LHD Yeti ready for it's MOT and UK registration. I need to set the rear fog light to the RHS from it's current LHS position. Everything is in place in the cluster including the bulb but need to cut and feed a wire across to the opposite side. To keep it simple id rather just source the pin that is missing from the connector and cut the existing wire in case I sell the car in the future back in France. Does anyone know the correct pin reference for the 6 way connector ? I've searched everywhere and cannot find it. Thank you clever people.
  2. We have been toiling with whether to sell the Yeti and either try to find another in the UK or buy another car but we could not think of 1 car that comes close to what we use the Yeti for. We had it from new and after 8 years has only just clocked 90k km and has wanted for nothing in terms of servicing at my local independent. It lives in a garage has steelies on over winter and looks like the day we collected it. Plus it's the 4x4 so not giving that up. We won't be moving back for at least 3 months do if by chance they turn up ๐Ÿคฃ
  3. Fantastic, thank you for the reply and link ๐Ÿ‘
  4. Bonjour all you clever people, yet again I need to ask for your help as my useless search has yielded no answers. Having been in France for the past 10 years and purchased our Yeti brand new in Jan 2017 we have decided to relocated back to the UK this year and of course we are bringing the left hooker Yeti with us, waaaaaaaay too good a car to sell here in France for a pittance. We have the standard halogen headlights and I need to order the UK head lights ready for the MOT before re registering onto UK plates. Can I find the correct OEM part numbers to order them ? Can I heck. I want to purchase OEM and every time I approach the dealers here, usual story, you provide the VIN to be given the LHD part numbers; Any help from you clever people would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance
  5. Very kind, thank you ๐Ÿ‘
  6. Yeah, exactly my confusion when trying to establish a clear definition of the belt change. Some top advice from everyone, as always, to just change it anyway. out of interest what was the change/updates at 17my ?
  7. The warranty period here in snail land was only 2 years. As soon as it was out I switched to a local independent, run by 2 brothers, who are sensible rates, advise of any preventative stuff to do so I can decide whether to approve and do a thorough job on routine maintenance. ill do both, tbh while they have it it wonโ€™t add a huge amount to the bill from ร  labour side. They look after my Amarok pick up and when I needed a major service, diffs, transfer box, auto box etc they did a quality job.
  8. Yeah when I looked on AUTODOC to get a flavour of belt prices I noticed all the belts were sold with a water pump. Thanks for the confirmation ๐Ÿ‘
  9. Yes toot did the haldex at 50k km ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Good point that Its G
  10. Yeah Iโ€™m in the same mindset just do it and Iโ€™m safe until the next change is required
  11. Thank you. Other tsi lumps with belts rather than chains appeared to be 5 years with various mileage equivalents. Weโ€™ve covered 72k km and the French dealers close to us have given us a mixed bag of sneers from yes, the car is 6 years old to no youโ€™ve covered chuff all mileage. Hopeless. Iโ€™m getting to the point of just doing it regardless.
  12. Good evening clever people Iโ€™ve searched high and low on here and through the net for the interval/mileage for replacing the cam belt. They yeti in question is a 2017 1.4tsi 150. Thanks in advance and a very Happy New Year to you all Cheers Dave
