cheers mate I will check that tomorrow [emoji4]Hi , I had similar symptoms a few months ago. Firstly oil was found on spark plugs. Then started to stutter before engine management light came on . Turned out to be rocker cover gasket. Since I have changed it no issues. Purchased part from TPS in Birmingham for around £25 off the top of my head.

changed both those yesterday put some redex in the fuel tank also not as bad now will see what's going on Monday and see what power it's putting out [emoji4]Could be anything at this stage but my first call would be plugs and coil packs as said above.

Hi all the engine is running strange it's like it's hesitating and when I drive it pulls like a train till it gets to 3000 revs then it's like it just cuts out but have no fault codes and no lights are on https://vimeo.com/110582152

Yep I remember that mine used to give me earache with no throttleYeah this is insanely loud. I don't mind it on the odd occasion, but on motorways i have to use quarter/half throttle just to make it bareable. It also hangs badly and doesnt fit flush with the rear bumper.

I had this problem with a exhaust I bought plus mine was really loud so took it to infinity exhaust and they added a silencer and made it fit properly wasn't that expensive either

Just changed spark plugs and they were covered in oil but engine is running fine is something to go wrong soon ie valve stems or piston rings [emoji17]

yeah that's what I thought mate will have to get the tape measure out tomorrow lolIt says it will... but it looks the wrong shape for the MK1 Octavia.
Think the stereo has to be squared on the edges to fit in the MK1.

Think it's finally sorted oil pressure is fine light was still flashing so drove it after a mile it went out and hasn't come back on since just need to clear the smoke out the exhaust now cos she a bit smokey still [emoji4]
