  1. Expanding foam ok its great for a lot of uses by an experienced user. Maybe find your car here, http://etka.cc/skoda/lang/e if you can find that panel it will show clips or how trim is fastened. Or google image "search c pillar skoda octavia" (think its a c pillar) super glue ?
  2. Got a sunblind on the rear door window only, helps with sun and helps stop dazzle from headlights at night. purchased from hortons (theskodashop.co.uk) other places are available. very easy fit and looks very great.
  3. If Donald wants to build a wall, then i suggest he does not employ a French company. The french are charging the uk £1.9m to build 2 walls, not more than a mile in total length and there will be extra ££ charges as the construction goes on.Estimated final cost of £2.5m is more likely. Bonjourno.
  4. Saw a bmw with a fake M badge badly stuck on and had turned upside down = w W****** kind of appropriate due to inconsiderate road manners. :|
  5. Car value at insurance renewal time,to be honest i use to guess the value and often just reduce the value around £1k. Now with lots of car valuations sites (free) on the internet, get 3 valuations print them out and keep, work out the average and use that figure at insurance renewal time, shocked to say in the past i have over valued my cars so paid more insurance. Dont let the rooks win.
  6. Not advertising but this is a very low mileage 2014 yeti. https://www.cargiant.co.uk/car/skoda/yeti/YE64LFW
  7. If it comes with a boot recess for a full sized road wheel then i am interested.in a couple of years :sun:
  8. I am thinking of getting a roof wrap and was thinking about temporary removal of them rails and headlining,as aerofurb has confirmed removal is from outside only. http://etka.cc/skoda/part_single/catalog/sk/markt/CZ/modell/YET/year/2015/drive_standart/779/hg_ug/853/subcategory/853030/part_id/2545308/lang/e Not sure about permanent removal of the rails, maybe someone has done this but warranty issues come to mind.
  9. Price looks rather steep but the car looks finished with the flaps fitted.
  10. the middle screw on rears are to small,so something like this example would do....http://www.halfords.com/workshop-tools/garage-equipment/fuses-electricals-fixings/halfords-cross-head-screws-flanged-no10x19mm-black-hfx262
  11. Think taxi type work could be considered as arduous so 10000 to be on the safe side. Dont worry about the expense at you can recover the costs through paying less income tax The inland revenue kindly paid for all my superb costs, everything absolutely everything  it was the only way i could have afforded to drive a v6 petrol doing 30k per year.
  12. thanks, very interesting topic. will give it a go sometime.
  13. never been a victim of columbus theft but when i was travelling and staying in hotels, leaving car in long term airport car parks ets, then i would remove the columbus myself just to reduce the theft risk. keep the superb until it starts to cost you big money  great car.
  14. One of the reasons i traded in my superb was the increasing theft of columbus, other reason i just did not need such a big car anymore. Although i do miss the luxury but i dont miss the frequent refuels.
  15. i know skoda are into cycling but please will the lycra clad person (could be a man, woman or a stig) who insisted on holding onto my roof bar to gain a tow,say thank you. upper brook st,london,w1 1400 today.
