Why do certain people question others peoples comments on here? Why would people make things up?

Spoke to VWFS yesterday. VWFS will support you for 6 months if you DO NOT have a car on order. If you have another VW group car on order they will support you for as long as you like.

Agreed and I said all of that months ago and got slated for it. I don’t really want the Kodiaq now but I will leave it on order so I can keep leasing my VW Tiguan month by month till I find something I really want. I will be asked to hand back the Tiguan soon if I don’t have a VW group car on order. This Tiguan is lower monthly’s as well.

Tried everything to find an alternative car to the Kodiaq on order knowing it will be months away yet. Absolutely nothing. They have me by the nuts. I Can’t believe I’ve ordered a Skoda and waited over 12 months 🤣.

Pushed Skoda for an update: having dropped out of build weeks I am told it now will be in the second half of the year but they don’t know when. Blaming War, Covid and chip shortages. They refuse to answer why cars ordered much later than my order are being delivered ok. Simply refusing to be transparent with customers about priorities set in the factory.

Doesn’t really bother me. Never keep ANY car longer than 3 years. I’ve always got cover for recovery, breakdown and cost. In fact, unable to remember any of my cars in the last 20 years having any issues? Not selling it to me

Easy and honest answer: I would if I could afford it. The Kodiaq Sportline 4x4 TDI is costing me £1800 deposit and £365 a month over 3 years. Landrover came nowhere near that. Believe me I tried!

The Kodiaq is ok, I am getting one because it was affordable and does what I need it to do. But that’s where it ends. Volvo, Audi, Landrover are a far superior all round package. Anyone trying to big up the Kodiaq is flogging a dead horse.

To be right, I am getting a Kodiaq (one day) so I do rate them but not a car that will ever be fun to drive or look at. Some other new cars out there now leaving the Kodiaq looking and feeling dated already

We must agree to disagree. I bought another Skoda based on its “good value for money” and I amcomfortable with that. Skoda is not a premium sector car manufacturer.

The Mercedes’ and Audi are a different league, if you can find one at a similar price go for it

Yes, Skoda dealer who I am doing the PCH with. Mine was build week 17. Unless they are filling me with Bull****, but would a large Skoda dealer do that?

So I am told. Mine did after having over 10 different build weeks to date! I have been told today that they will go back in but nobody knows when! This may just apply to lease cars, I am unsure.

Sorry, to be clear Sportlines are still being supplied but taken out of build weeks for nowdue the situation in Ukraine and semi conductor shortages.

Great result, Got it just before all Kodiaq Sportlines were taken out of build weeks (so i am told). Ordered mine in July also £1800 deposit, 36 months @ £360. Standard TDI 4X4 Sportline. Ordered from Skoda but fear it will never come, its had over 10 set build weeks so far and now taken out of build!

Has anyone who has ordered a Kodiaq Sportline (on lease) received a build update in the last 10 days?
