I ordered July also, unconfirmed build week 9. He said they are the same as us, kept in the dark and guessing. Even more frustrated after a 20 minute conversation!

Spoke with the dealer again today, poor bloke got my Skoda frustrations full on! It’s not his fault obviously and it is amazing how Skoda have lost sight of customer requirements and relations. I am not asking for a miracle, only a high level explanation of how they currently plan orders.

Really happy for you but it makes me more angry if I am honest. Ordered mine mid July and current build week 12! 🤬

I think you are correct. Standard lower value cars are back of the queue. Skoda are far from being honest or ethical here

All car manufacturers will have lean manufacturing best practice in place. The issue I have is that they have no plan and make things up as they go along. Zero communication with customers or dealers. It is not good enough. No excuse for that!

Just an explanation from the factory would go down well.

Getting really annoyed now. Just been informed my week 9 build is now week 12 and build weeks are very fluid and can change day to day. Ordered July last year, standard Kodiaq Sportline 4x4. Got a great deal on this car and I hope the dealers are not putting us off in the hope we look for something else so they can sell at the new higher margins!

Has the Kodiaq standard spec changed since ordering in July?? The thread suggests bits missing?

Mine is the standard 4x4 Kodiaq ordered in July, build week 9. Lots of other people got their cars sooner with a few optional extras. No pattern and very random, only Skoda know why but they won’t tell us will they! Last Skoda I buy!

I looked and looked at alternatives and nothing sensibly priced. Having to put new tyres on for what should be 2 months of ownership left! They are taking the pxss!

Exactly the same as me, including MOT and new tyres!!

The Skoda factory have no access to the method or way of paying for the car, I have checked. It is staggering how disorganised and random they are?

I have heard contract hire cars are pushed back in the queue so retail are priority. That info came from a dealer. I ordered a sportline 4x4 standard build mid July. Just been informed provisional build date of mid Feb and should get the car before April!!!

Same here. Give up and Ordered a Volvo today but leaving the order open till I get close to delivery in 3 weeks
