Thats a great result! I ordered mid July (Sportline TDI 4X4) and i have just got an unconfirmed build slot of week 9!!

I ordered my standard 4x4 TDI Sportline in early July. I Just received an unconfirmed build date. Week 9! WTF! 😢

Ordered a standard Sportline 4x4 in June and not heard anything at all, no build date - nothing! VW group are a shambles with no system and certainly no orderly queue

Not acceptable !!!

There are random Kodiaq and Karoq cars been made available to dealers recently. A bit annoying when our orders of June are not even getting a build date. Unable to afford one of these "random" cars for sale as they are sticking an additional £3 to 5k on the selling price. I think the Skoda focus is on trying to attract additional customers with cars being built, knowing that people like us are already committed with no reasonable options out there. The silence related to updates from Skoda speaks volumes. The cars are going to be very late and they know that but not telling us.

did you ever get a build date? i ordered in july and heard nothing. nearly bought an in stock volvo today out of pure frustration

Hadn’t thought of that, thanks! I thought if I said that it would arrive much quicker. I actually think it’s good customer service and any news at this point may have an influence on my next move.

The high cost I am referring to is in relation to receiving regular feedback, it’s all I want and deserve. **** happens but normally large organisations have a contingency plan or road to recovery. My dealer should at least drop me a line, even just to say “sorry, no news”. Not good enough really.

Any more updates? Ordered my Kodiaq Sportline 4x4 in July and heard nothing! It’s not good enough when spending over £40k. They must have some idea of what a plan is and figured out what the recovery for the semi conductor supply chain is? Tried to buy something else but nothing out there and they know that. 🤬

But nothing to lease?

I’m looking for something else now, there are no positive noises coming from Skoda

i think they will ensure all of the EU get their card before shipping to the Brexit UK

Just received my new Kodiaq.

Shortage of semi conductors etc after a fire in Thailand apparently. But surely they have a recovery plan?

I can’t wait that long, will have to keep searching for stock car or cancellation then cancel my order
