Asking for Skoda Karoq 1.6 TDI 2019 All weather recommendation

Mine is a Karoq 1.0 TSi manual. I just went for the same size tyres as didn’t want to get new rims as keep the all seasons on all year around. -

Hi, I have just fitted 4 x Vredestein Quatrac Pro 215/50 R18 W to my Karoq SEL. Done about 500 miles on them so far in Wet and cold weather. So far very happy with them. I used to live in Oberammergau and had a 4x4 Karoq Scout then. Fitted the same tyres (but 19 inch) which were very sure footed in all the snow we had during the winter. Also happy at speed on the Autobahn and in Croatia in the summer. They are legal for winter use and a little cheaper than Goodyear and Michelin equivalents. -
Has anybody tried Vredestein Quatrac Pro all season tyres?

Yes! Just fitted these on my 1.5tsi 4x4 Karoq Scout. Only driven about 250km on them so far and mostly on very wet roads at about 8 Degrees C. Was after all season tyres to replace the summer ones that came with the car which I got in Apr 19. In 225/45 19 size there were about 3 different types avail at the local tyre place: Vredestein Quatrac Pro, Falken Euro All Seasons or Maxxis AP2. The Quatrac came in at 190 Euro each and I was reasonably happy with that. Had all season tyres on my previous car (Superb TDi 4x4 Elegance). They were great and much more convenient than having to swap over from summer to winter tyres (it’s the law here). Couldn’t tell the difference in them driving in Croatia and Southern Italy in the summer and in the winter I have never had a drama with them. Where we live it is sub zero from Dec to Mar and the snow can get quite deep. Had over a metre of snow in the garden in Jan 19!! Never got stuck in the snow with them on yet and that has been driving to ski resorts in Austria and Germany on white snow compacted roads. Having read reviews of the Quatrac Pro I hope they will perform as well as the Bridgestone Weathercontrol I had on my Superb. Hope that helps out.... Incidentally if anyone wants to buy 4 x part used (8k Km) Bridgestones (300 Euros) that came with the car then get in touch if you are in the Southern Germany area or can arrange collection. -
