Aaron at fix and go behind tesco on longhill industrial estate does a cheap map for £140 quid. Cheap and cheerful. Cannot comment on them as mine is already mapped but might be worth a try.

It's not lol this meet is in Bolsover.

I'm hoping to get to this meet at the end of the month, but even if I'm not it would be great to get a good turn out from the north east! It seems a convoy from Durham is working it's way down to this meet just south of Sheffield. Any body who wants to join then get Involved, nice little road trip for a Sunday morning and quite a lot of other skodas already going from other areas from what I can tell.

Interested too!

Mine was 20k more miles and 1.5k less. 7k is very over priced! But each to there own if they want an SE that badly, I waited 4 months for the right one to come along and it was in the price/milage/distance range. One will come along, just need to keep searching! [emoji106]

Great news! Not surprising you found it considering the scope of the search on Facebook. Chuffed for you [emoji106]

[emoji593][emoji125] right you are! too the Fabia! ( but I think I will opt for the nearest dealer as opposed to the dearest one, not that it matters since its warranty work [emoji6])Standard 10 years mate so go to your dearest dealer and claim !

Oh this is worth bearing in mind. My sills are bubbling and there are a few spots just above the rear lights and a bleb or two on the boot lid. Can't complain if it's free! I'm assuming you don't have to be the original owner to claim this? It's just a standard 10 year warranty?

The pictures make it look harder to read, but in the flesh it is probably a little bit easier to read the plate. Is this to make it harder or easier for the number plate to be read?
. . . . Not that that is why I changed the bulbs. Just prefer the crisp white look compared to the dull yellow standard ones.

hmm looks tidy! If you have a spare few quid then why not, especially if it will match the rest of your hoses. [emoji1]

Well not sure if this will be a helpful guide as it's a pretty simple job, but non the less . . . .
First remove the current bulb holder with a T10 bit
Then replace the current bulb with your choice of replacement. Mine was a 39mm led festoon. Was a squeeze but it fits in like so
After that reattach in the same manner and it will look like so...... (left standard - right is led)
Jobs a goodone!
Day time view . . .
Then the completed article
OEM Fresh! Hope this helps if any one was wondering

My initial thoughts but the stuff generally on top of oil bottles is quite thin and this is thicker than it looks [emoji53]Probably this. I found the cap off an oil bottle half melted lying inside my engine bay.
(Plus it is perfectly round, well when it's not crumpled up)

Oh and another thing I found on the under tray after a rummage . . .

Found this . . . . .
In here . . . .
Small bit of thin looking metal right under the oil filler cap. It was rather hot and resting just under the plastic fin things. Any ideas? What it is or how it even got there?

My car is out of its warranty period so not to concerned about that aspect of the dealers warnings as 95% of the time they are just covering their backs any hoo. But from the read of this thread seems mainly positive. I agree about the long term implications, hence my original post. [emoji106]

I appreciate this is a rather big BUMP, but how are the 2 stroke oil users getting on? Guessing a few thousand miles have been chewed through since the last update . . . . . Definitely going to give this a try
