  1. I see the MG managed to squeeze in gas struts for the bonnet. I still don't get why they didn't put them on the octy!
  2. Agree - I kayak and keep the key in a small waterproof bag. Its nice to come back to the car and the boot can be opened without having to get the key out. It's the main reason I went for the KESSY option.
  3. Hi Andy361, Sounds similar to the issue I had. As you'll see above it was due to a fault with a pressure sensor.
  4. I also had this piece fall of and it keeps falling off. I've found a new home for it in the rear ash tray.
  5. I had a simlar problem a while back. Long story short it was a pressure sensor and took 2 weeks to put right. Have a look at my other posts to get the details.
  6. I'm in the Bolero is prity poor camp. However when I connect my phone via bluetooth and play Spotify music through the radio with an equaliser setting turned on in Spotify it sounds much better. Bass is so much better than I can get when listening to the radio.
  7. I went for Hardcastle racks off amazon. 135cm length. £40. They will fit the estate. One small problem I had with them was that the keys to unlock them are a bit stiff. Spray of WD40 and now they are moving freely. I'm only going to use them occasionally so didn't need super expensive ones.
  8. I'd guess it's also to reduce emissions in congested areas therefore attempting to improve air quality in towns and cities.
  9. Interesting - Funny mine took 2 weeks to put right. Communication must be lacking between Skoda UK and their servicing depts. I would guess/hope the next time that problem comes to the technician it will be fixed quickly.
  10. I relation to OP's problem with the Start/Stop not de-activating when he pressed the button. I had the same problem once. Pressed the button to de-activate it only to find at the next stop the S/S stopped the engine. I was only playing around with it at the time to see how it worked. I now just let the S/S do its thing.
  11. Had the same problem with mine - car was in getting a sensor replace and I highlighted the issue. They fixed it mentioning removing it and greasing it. Not sure how but it works now.
  12. Could you add a link to that article. Can't seem to find it.
  13. Update - I just received a call and it turns out the fault was with a pressure sensor which has been replaced. The technician will drive it tonight to test it further and all being well I can pick it up tomorrow. Touch wood I don't have any further problems.
  14. Thanks for the responses folks. I agree with your comments. I have a good relationship with the dealer at the min so I'll give them more time to do there thing. 30k and its yours!
