My glow plug light is flashing and the bulb warning light is on I've changed the brake light switch with the new one from dealers (black with a white tip) fitted it and it worked a few times then stopped once I'd put it all back together, tried a few other switches got one from euro car parts still don't work. I've fitted it with the pedal up and with it down still nothing.. I checked the bulbs and both are blown replaced them and still nothing all other lights work but brake lights I've swapped the holders over and still no luck
Anyone got any ideas?

What's a realistic price on the depo projectors you would take as they are £170 on eBay?
-
Was changing the glow plug relay.. It's behind the headlight switch so had to unplug it to drop the lower dash panel down while it was unplugged I started the car..Why did you have reason to unplug the headlight switch? Before moving on; do you mean in a MkI Octavia or a MkI Fabia?
And I've got a mk1 Fabia vrs

Since the other week when I unplugged the headlight switch and started the car my bulb warning lamp comes on when I start the car yet none of the bulbs are out all are working.. Any ideas?

Tints reduce light output regardless of what anyone says or prints. To increase light output you need more power, more power generates more heat and that in turn can cause wiring and or the headlight itself to suffer heat damage.
What HIDs or bulbs are currently fitted? anything above 4300K starts to reduce output as you head into the blue and then purple colour.
I was passed by a VW Polo the other night on the M3 at Winchester, how the driver saw anything in the dark is a mystery as the lights were so blue there was just a faint glow in front of the car.
It's got fly eyes tints so fully legal, currently it's got 6k HIDs I think there pretty **** on unlit sections

Since tinting my headlights the light output is very bad so looking for some better HIDs what are recommended?

If you cant get them out using an easy out you could always drill them out and helicoil them, shouldn't be too much drama I did a similar thing on one of my golfs and snapped a rocker cover bolt.
Well it's all the mechanics job and at least I'm not the only one to do it lol

Broken studs don't matter? I think not, they wouldn't be fitted if they weren't for a reason :P like to keep the oil inside the engine
He's gonna get them out

Probably had a slight oil leak so some dopey previous owner has thought tightening the bolts will stop it.
Not realising there are restrictors in the cover which stop you over tightening the plastic cover.
Just had the mechanic round he said the broken studs aren't a problem gave me a very very good price on the timing belt and water pump along with doing all the lifters and the cam and the shells all at a price I can't say no to just as long as I get the bits and I get the rocker cover off and see what's what under there

First one just snapped on the first turn the other went about a quarter turn then snapped got a Mobile mechanic coming over now to have a look at it

I'm confused myself first one on the right at the front going the right way first turn and snap, thought okay that went well on the next one snap, then next one and snap again so yeah 3 in a row rest came out with ease can't get to the one under the EGR

Tbh your video sounds ok?
Just sounds like the horrible noisy derv that is fitted to the VRS!!
Get a good torch and have a look through oil filler cap at the cam,any scoring or funny shaped lobes etc and then as above whip the cam cover off and inspect complete cam and tops of lifters.
Quite an expensive job if it's cam that's worn,as you will need to do a cambelt/water pump change too.
Tried getting the rocker cover off today snapped 3 bolts in the head and can't get the EGR off the get the last bolt off that's under the EGR so gave up but when I looked through the oil cap the cam has got wear on one of the lobs could see but I wouldn't say it's enough to give me all the noise

They do make a strange noise from the inlet with a cone fitted, like the sound you describe tbh.
A knackered cam or lifter will give you a proper metal on metal tapling/knocking sound.
I've had one with a cone filter and it's not that this is really loud and only get pounded get u go up the revs, you can hear it as I go and come back to the front of the car hence y I'm by where the air box would be I'll try and dig up an old video with the bonnet open

Is it running a standard air filter?
Check all your inlet pipes are secure.
Nope it's got a cone filter but everything seemed in check
