  1. Morning all, Right I'm completely useless at this so I've got no idea what I'm asking for so hoping you can all give me some advice. Looking at replacing the front bushes on my Fabia 1.6tdi estate. I'd much rather do them all at the same time. So can anyone please list what I need? And anything else they'd recommend to replace whilst I've got the mechanic under there? Car is 2011, done 145,000miles. Many thanks
  2. You can order it separate without any others having to be mandatory. As it's a business car costs need to be kept low so I think I'll skip the blind spot sensor!
  3. I have thought that after 5 years of saying at the start that fabia estate 1.6tdi wouldn't last I've been pleasantly impressed. Its just that for 80% of the driving is town and short journeys then the other 20% is big mile autobahn cruising and I'm concerned a 1.0 might get abused doing 5000miles of it a year?
  4. I'd love to go for the se l but to be honest with a discount of 33% on the se tech I can't argue with having to put up with a manual. I'd love to find a 1.5tsi day for same price but I can't!
  5. Right ladies and gents a question please! Been into my local skoda dealer today for a contract hire octavia. Now I want estate regardless so that's sorted. I'd prefer the petrol 1.5tsi as most of my journeys are between 5-10miles per trip but I do have a higher mileage usage so this seems the best mix for me. Only question I really need answering are 1. Anything I'm missing as on optional extra or some are already included on this spec that'll make just normal things better ontop what I've already picked; Adaptive cruise control Front and rear sensors Heated front seats 17" trius alloys Metallic paint 2. Best lease deals anyone else is aware of? I'm on; 3 months upfront 36 month rental 15k per year Servicing and tyres included all in £288/month I think it's a fantastic deal. But there must be someone out there who knows of similar deals somewhere? Thanks all I hope you can help!
  6. Finally I'm not alone! I did the same this evening as I'veheard it for years but no-one else claims to hear anything. Like a metallic revolution noise that gets more prominent the longer the engine has been running? Doesn't seem to speed up or slow down I can't hear it in the engine bay either but can in the car. Does anyone else know?
  7. Evening all having had quite a bit of new sensors added lately on my fabia 1.6tdi estate and noticed it's rather grimy under there. I'm looking at getting under the bonnet and giving it a proper clean meaning pressure wash etc. Any suggestions on what I need to cover/avoid and best stuff for cleaning an engine bay? Thanks in advance.
  8. Do you know what it's called though? Everywhere I look I can't find nothing to show this type of sensor that click on instead of.bolt.on?
  9. Evening all quick hopefully simple question is this the dpf differential sensor on my 2011 fabia 1.6tdi? Have seen other posts that's it's up by the washes neck, near the coolant bottle but confused as hell?
  10. im going for meteor grey best colour out there, but the missus wants to change the mirrors and grille for orange which I can sort anyway!
  11. Afternoon all, looking into buying an Octavia vrs estate but looking through the options list im not sure if im selecting the best options for resale value and also trying to find where the option is for adaptive cruise control is as I cant find it on skoda car build. Cheers!
