Same problem, Skoda rejected claim as no two year body inspection by supplier. No notification. This should be sorted by the warranty. VW, Skoda know that this is a known issue. As usual they are trying to avoid commitment. Skoda promised support and warranty, failed to fulfil commitment.

A year in lockdown. Some travel for essential work and to sell my narrowboat. Retirement home not available so it has gone. A big loss.
Citigo INSPEC warnings even though only 2000 miles covered in the year.
Stop/Start not working. Could be too cold, battery nearly 7 years old. Neglected and parked up, not cleaned for a year.
I am in need of some care too after a year inside without any friends or family, or exercise.

The tyres were premium contact 2 and lasted 60,000 miles , except one with a screw through the shoulder. New ones are Contact 3. Better price than 6.
-
I use the Conti Premium tyres. I also have a set of Dunlop winter on steel rims to change for cold weather. I purchased them from MyTyres online and delivered. Formula One Autocentre will price match for competitive prices.

Use Groupon to service your car. Around £50.

Rear bump stop rubber on mine, replaced on 5 year extended warranty. Car now 6 years old , no longer under warranty, shame.
-
F 1 Autocentres did have an offer at £48. Have a look at Groupon too. If you have an extended warranty then use a genuine oil filter.

Just had a trip around nine counties and 700 miles over Sunday and Monday. Loved it, well done to the Citigo.
-
Just had 60,000 miles service. Put three new tyres on and wheel alignment too. Lasted well at nearly six years old. They share mileage with winter tyres, but winters have plenty miles left on .
A little worry is that twice top end engine rattle on startup. Oil must have drained back until pressure regained. Not done that previously.

Normal for Citigo. If noise stops when clutch pedal pressed, don't worry.
-
Mine will stop for around 15 minutes maybe more. Battery is 5 years old, as is the car.
-
Mine has just developed this noise. It is now five years old . I haven't checked recently but I had the wheels off in April and the shocks were ok then.
-
The dealer replaced the pedal under warranty.

Thanks for that Tech1e. I was told that smells and nasties develop and a blast of heat kills them. How can one tell when air con needs a recharge?
-
I have stop/start on all the time. I also leave air on on as well. Every now and then I turn the heating on full to burn off anything incubating in the pipes.

I just had the cambelt changed at 5 years old. They need inspection at 160,000. I changed as a precaution, not worth the risk of breakage.

Summer tyres and wheels refitted today. Later this year.

Don't worry. It is normal.

Mine was replaced under warranty. I had extended 5 year warranty. Just expired sadly.

Cam belt and tensioner changed today. 53890 miles but 5 years old. VW suggest examine at 160,000 but it is not worth the risk. Haselden did the job for £339.

New tyre fitted. Old one punctured by a screw in the shoulder.

MOT passed ok. ATS Euromaster again. Last year £9.99, this year £17.99. Car tax £0. Insurance up from £267 to £366 even after the comparison sites.

I bought the stainless ones. They do not provide much protection. I supplemented carbon look vinyl for protection.
