Thanks

I’ve got a remap, darkside intercooler, deleted EGR, using a egr simulator so no engine light.
Remapped by Superchips and it’s running 150hp and about 260ft lbs.
Drives great. Can get a nice power gain with just a remap on this engine.

Are they just the premium discs from ecp?
No got these from eBay, they are Brembo and the pads are Brembo. They seem really good

I Like,
I like!Straight fit and what you got on the back?
If your not looking to go 312mm and keeping the drums you should pick up a decent set of front 288's for not bad money, Im surprised the standards have lasted one track day never mind a few.
Umm straight fit but need calipers and carriers. Still got drums on the back never really fancied a disc conversion and trying to stop the spending on the car now. Just tying to keep it maintained now

Could be also notice that it says 5th gear? if it was a 5th gear pull thats when the speed limiter would kick in so wondering if its something to do with that then it overrides it.
Had the speed limiter removed by Superchips, could possibly be that.
Definetly does more than 118 mph now As I bet yours does well beyond that

No I don’t actually, used to when I first got the car but met my partner and had a little girl relatively quickly. So no more going out in the car really any spare time is spent with them do miss the car meets and stuff though.
Only thing close to that this year is I’m going to goodwood festival of speed.

I didn’t want another black car after my first car it was a nightmare to keep clean. Then again white is just as bad. But as a car it’s been bulletproof and still enjoy driving it

Love the colour seen a couple lately. Lower it, remap it and fit a rear anti-roll

Went into work early yesterday as me and the detailer in Work have a gentleman’s agreement I work on his car for no charge and he looks after mine.
So a couple of hours with the machine polisher using new autoglym renovator and finished with autofineese triple and bilt hamber double speed wax. Very happy but obviously straight after it rained.

Didn’t that start life as a MK6 golf R ? No idea how it’s on a Fabia though bet that wasn’t easy or cheap to do.

so.. were the calipers diferent? or something else was the problem?
Yes my standard calipers looked right but didn’t fit right. I ended up using calipers and carriers off a TT 225 one of the best upgrades I’ve done .

I’ve found as for torque values it never comes close. I’ve had two dyno runs First was 261ftlbs second was 258ftlbs and the app shows no where near that figure.
On the other had the wheel horse power figure seems to be very close! Always worked out when doing it my car was around 150hp which was proven on my dyno run at the end of last year. I used the OBD 2 dyno app on Android it gives you a actual dyno graph on wheel hp.

What are the more popular changes that people make?
Needle sweep, big mph display on dashboard, unlock all doors or selective locking, teardrop wipe of wipers I think it’s called.
Do you need changes ? Depends on the car really.

Hi all,
My Fabia has been mapped for a couple of years anyway but never knew standard figures and after gains.
Went to a local dyno garage today and initially they started to slate Superchips and the bluefin I had installed.
After I installed it and then we did more runs they took it all back as they said it was just a generic map at first and when it run they were impressed by how good the power curve was and how smooth it was.
Something for all to see if interested map was installed by Wiltshire Superchips and it’s been faultless ! And car is brilliant.
