Dont know if this had been answered before so apologies if it has, but i know on the kodiaq at least on models with the emergency button you get 14 years care connect free of charge and 1 year infotainment online( internet browsing etc) all cars that have smartlink enabled get that functionality for life foc.

It is a shame it's one thing i would say that seriously lets the car down. :(

Try a new usb cable solved my issue Bizzare but worked for me.

Has anybody had problems with paint chipping especially on the bonnet? I have had to ring skoda customer services today about it.I have got 3 chips In the paint on the bonnet already.It's vrs race blue with 1600 miles on the clock. my old Panzer Tank (Passatt) i had absolutely no problems with paint chipping like this in all the 6 years i owned it!! have to take my car down to the dealer for them to look at it. Although she wouldn't say officially but the woman from skoda care said they have had certain models with the issue!

I have a slightly different issue on my vrs. Say I am listening to my SD card, I plug in my phone (xperia z) and it comes up with a Usb error then if I go back to media screen it says SD card error also.The only way around this is to make sure I plug my phone in before turning the ignition on I can't even get around this by turning the stereo off and then plugging the phone in to charge very annoying.

I ordered my VRS beginning of March was told wouldn't be here till Sept 1st. But arrived last week in June. so build dates in my experience can change so much and i had quite a few extras.

Can I just add here I have bought a car from Darren at D.M Keith in Hull and can't fault there service, every 2-3 weeks I have had updates as to any changes in build dates etc. All the staff are Polite and not pushy. Dale the service manager knows his stuff. Just a very efficient outfit Highly Recommended. :clap: :clap:

Hi I am Jon from Hull and it's been 3 weeks since my last confession, oh no wrong forum. Seriously yes My name is Jon, a truck driver from Hull. My VRS diesel is due to be delivered Monday 23rd July.I just want to say how good my dealer has been ordered beginning of March(yes I know pretty quick build and delivery was originally told September for delivery) and the salesman has not gone more than three weeks without an update(although three weeks seems an eternity when waiting for your pride and joy). Really happy with them and hope that the after care is just as good which I have a feeling will be. D.M Keith hull,brilliant.

No mines the Race Blue one. Its my own car rather than a company one and although I love black Imho it shows the scratches up to easily and as I am looking to keep the car 6 years plus went for the blue.its going to be a bit of a revelation as at the moment I am driving a 105bhp Passatt Diesel. just really got peed off with the stupid electronic handbrake especially when it failed and rolled back into a 4x4 in a pub car park lol luckily no damage. Only video if you have time you've done enough already by giving me a photo! I am well happy with that obviously I expect you have deadlines to meet as I know only too well my self being a class 2 driver by trade.
