Update on six years of ownership - 3.6 awd estate
S28 replied to Wile7's topic in Skoda Superb Mk II (2008-2015)
I've got one in Australia and also love it. 125000Km now. Only issue being a AC compressor. Not many 3.6l here. I did put in a rear camera a few years ago. -
2011 Skoda Superb Estate V6 3T I've had my last 2 sets of tires prematurely ruined by wheel alignment. The inside edge of both tires wear very quickly. The last time I got new tires, I spent time to find a centre that could do a professional alignment. I made sure they also did a full bump stop alignment. But I just noticed my tiers are ruined. Has anyone else experienced these tires issues and does anyone have an answer.

Bonnet protector / bra for Superb 2 (2013-2015 facelift)
S28 replied to Matt888's topic in Skoda Superb Mk II (2008-2015)
Matt, When I bought my Superb, it had a clear protection strip done like a clear wrap. Approx 30cm up the bonnet. It looks fine and work very well. The car was owned in country Australia. Stu- 4 replies

Difference between Superb 3.6 and Passat 3.6
S28 replied to big_dane's topic in Skoda Superb Mk II (2008-2015)
I think the R36 engine has a different manifold to the Superb. Something to do variable intake. -
Sorry for the problems you are having. My camera looks just as a factory image should. I could only suggest a good lens clean and make sure it is not getting a flare of something. Also check that the connection into the columbus is fully seated.

No problem. A "thanks" is enough.

Ok. Brown goes to earth. Red goes to 12 Volt. Blue goes to reverse. Here are some more photos; The fuse adapter is the easiest thing to do. I found mine easily at the local auto store. I hope this helps.

I have an Australian model Superb with a Columbus with no TV tuner.

I used a Dremel with metal cutting discs and steady hand. I think it needed approx 10mm on each side but make sure you measure 5 times cut once. The cable running took about 2 hours with no instructions. Other posts give you some ideas. I just tried to stay away from airbags.

Here are some pics.

No, pics of the actual install. Too busy installing. There are only a few cable. First to the Columbus head unit. Second to the fuse box ( you also run to the battery with a inline fuse in the V6 model but you have to go near the fuse box to run the first cable). Third to an earth. Fourth to the reverse light wire.

Yes, I have the columbus. Yes, It's an estate.
