It all depends on who tunes it, there is no norm. I see the golf 6 gti's getting mapped to around 265 all the time. I would say anywhere around 260 and 300ftlbs is perfect. These engines have a lot of power hidden from standard but are limited to how far they can go without other supporting mods. Join the TSI k04 tuning page and also TFSI tuning page on facebook, it is full of information.

2.0 tsi ea888 gen 1 can easily make 260-270 from a stage 1 remap. Add an intake and exhaust you could see a touch more but the limit of the turbo isn't far away. My old Octavia (now my brothers) was custom mapped and was running 265bhp and 310 ft lbs of torque. With the right mods you should see over 300hp with the k04.

I am running the Eibach pro sport kit. -35mm drop so looks a lot better and still retains the majority of comfort.

I'm in Darlington if you don't find anyone closer.

Was that standard on your car? Strange how my 2009 (59) had a revision G fitted to it.
-
hi gazpot0111645 where did you have your remap done?
Hi, Remap was done in Sunderland @ The Performance Centre. Although my stage 2 will be done at R-tech in Hinckley.

/\/\/\/\ - Seconded
Thirded and maybe also check PCV as these can be common.

Providing you pay the right money and don't visit a back of the van or an off the shelf remap you will see massive gains. I stand by custom maps that are dyno proven that way it is tailored to your vehicle. My car stage 1 is running 262bhp and 300ftlb which is very fun to drive and still retains if not slightly better economy when tinkling around.

I am in Darlington and could take a look at it for you. I have VCDS. Not highly clued up but have always done my own coding/retrofitting. Was it a second hand CCM? I would say that maybe it would need coding to the specifics of the vehicle. Maybe some one else can confirm this.

Have you checked or replaced the diverter valve?

Same coils mate.

Like Daz says. The bolero is bluetooth capable but you will need to add the module and microphone for it to work.
-
I feel for you. Had this done to one of my previous cars multiple times. Just shows how low some people are.
-
Yeah it was definitely a regen - as it hadn't quite finished when I stopped so let it idle for a couple of mins and then the stop start kicked in when it had finished - accompanied by aforementioned smell and fan remaining on. May be just a one off
A DPF regen can only work at high temperature. If this tried to regen from a cold start you have issues. Cant see how it can even try from low temps. It would be impossible.

For the price of that I would look at just fitting a genuine kit.

Mine is located under the passenger seat. you will find it easier to locate the quadlock if you remove the top tray/air vents. It will just pull out.

Quote from Big Fish website. "We do not use generic or off-the-shelf maps, the map in your car will be unique and customised to your own car and (if they are fitted) the supporting modifications."
In my own opinion, every car should be custom mapped. I personally don't believe in generic maps.

The performance centre do custom maps also. Isnt big fish tuning an APR dealer? So surely he also does off the shelf APR maps? My octavia was done at the performance centre. Full custom map running 262.4bhp and 300ftlb of torque.
-
I have used both and In my eyes both as good as each other. What are you wanting to get done?

Big Fish Tuning in Stokesley or The Performance Centre in Sunderland. Only 2 in the north east that are good.

I would stick the latest Rev G valve on it. Works perfect and holds boost well. Latest G is a diaphragm type and will surely split after time but is the best. 06F145710G .
