  1. Hey, I've found the best place to get a "fairly" definitive answer is using The Brembo brake catalogue dedicated to the spare parts expert Or, the best bet is to just put a straight edge on the edge of the disk and measure to the centre and times it by two to confirm.
  2. My 2020 has the same issue, previous to me buying it the owner had it in Skoda for a replacement wheel bearing and either they're made of cheese and its gone again, or its something else. I'm currently just turning my music up louder! lol!
  3. Thanks! I'm overall pretty happy with the car and its DSG and as its the 245 has the LSD so I've yet to find the limit of the car which is great! I was hoping to find some more emotion from the car. I've decided to go for the Pikey R600 mod for now and bought a Ramair panel filter/elbow/hose to try and unlock a little more noise from the engine. Then I think I'll be looking to exhaust.
  4. Hey, I'm looking to give the car a little more soul. I don't really know what would be best value for money so I'm looking to see what you guys think. Pretty happy how the car handles, but it just needs some.... theatre to the driving experience, its a very "tame" fast estate!
  5. I used to own a Seat Leon with the 2.0tdi engine (CUPA) and there is a known cranking issue with the CUNA/CUPA engines in the VAG family. I could sometime try and start it and nothing would happen. Leave it for a few minutes and it would crank straight away. There's plenty of information online about it and there's to my knowledge not a "definitive" fix for it.
  6. Hi All, I have a meteor grey black pack VRS estate and I wanted to change the boot badges to Black to match it all in a bit better, however the first I've bought (from eBay) has failed after a matter of about 3 months and the black coating is peeling off. Does anyone have a recommendation on the best places to get badges?
  7. Resolved Removed the RH boot carpet and found the sound insulation material which is bonded to the back of the carpet had come loose and was blocking the vent. Removed that section and its now back to normal!
  8. Not especially, but I guess on a few occasions I have had to go and double check the door as its not shut properly. I think I'll pull the bumper off this weekend and take a look!
  9. Morning All, This is a weird one, I bought my 2020 Octavia VRS Estate at the latter part of last year and since I've owned it if the cabin fan is anything above 3 it will begin to pressurise the cabin to the point it hurts your ears from the sheer amount of pressure. If you press the recirc button the pressure goes instantly You can also hear the air trying to escape from all the window seals around the car and it will actually pop the doors open if you opened it. My thoughts are there's an issue with the vents behind the rear bumper, but before I started stripping things down I wanted to just check to see if anyone else has experience this?
  10. Hi All, returning to the Skoda scene with a 2020 VRS after a stint away with a Seat, but pleased to be back. as the title states I’m wondering, what’s the best bang for your buck when it comes to just getting a little bit more aggressive noise from the engine? I have the 245 petrol and it’s just quite sedate. thanks in advance!
