  1. Hello, I have Octavia l&k 2005... recently it has started giving a grinding noise only during deceleration... the moment I hit gas pedal or press the clutch, the noise goes away... I have got the complete axle repaired and replaced the bearings and joints... please suggest guys what could be the probable cause...
  2. I think u r right mate... it could be a blockage... I did get the system cleaned but with radiator intact... never changed water pump... Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

  4. Hi Guys... Greetings to All!!! I thought to put this here in tbe forum to get few suggestions from the members. i have octavia lnk 2005, recently I have been facing this issue with overheating thing whenever I take it for a long drive say 100 miles or uphill. I faced this recently and found that there was no coolet coing back to the reservoir from the pipe from which coolent should come back. Also, after slowly opening the cap of the reservior and cooling it a bit I turned the car on and the coolent started coming back and over flowing out form the reservoir. The big hose which is connected to the radiator was swollen and looked like was filled with steam. Anyways, I pumped some air through my mouth few times in the pipe (which refills the reservoir) which seemed like choked and turned the car ON and coolent started flowing through it in the reservoir. Now yesterday, just out of curosity I pulled that pipe out again just to check if coolent was circulating back to the reservoir and found that there were lot of bubbles and air too coming out from that pipe. I am not sure what could be the reason... is that air the reason why my octi is getting overheated again n again? Please advise. Thanks guys... Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

  7. Hi folks, I have octi 2005 lnk. From past 2 days I have been getting grinding noise wgen i turn steering at low speeds... checked power steering oil it looked good and the level is fine as well... took it to a garage today and mechanic said the mounts needs to be replaced... can mounts b a reason behind this noise or is he just trying to make money out of this... 8. Wraped disks could be the most probable culprits here... i had the same issue... got rotors grinded to make the surface even... and vibration upon applying breaks never happened again... Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

  12. Hi Guys... Drove my octi without MAF... But felt even less power... Plugged MAF again and car had a better power... I think MAF is fine... Went to a mechanic he adjusted turbo wastegate and I felt a lot improved pickup... But is this a good idea to adjust turbo? Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  13. I do not have an access to VCDS... Will try with unplugged MAF... Will post the response soon Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  14. Yes... Mate... It works fine... I checked if the diaphragm moves when I press the acceleration paddle and it does open an close... Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  15. It pulls the inside part up and stays there till the time the air is pulled through the hose... Even if I start the car and press the acceleration paddle egr shows the movement Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
