VED/£40k
The eqb was £50k with 0% APR and 2 free services, however they would not budge one pound from their mercedes 'agency' price and I wasn't allowed to buy it my wife preferred the new Kodiaq to replace our current model! I don't think the agency model bodes well for VAG 😞

VED/£40k
@Ootohere I was looking at 7 seaters only

VED/£40k
Cheers. I had thought about a Merc eqb to offset the VED, however it was too small. The new kodiaq looked huge in the showroom!

VED/£40k
Hi, can't delete post above but hopefully helpful to any one else searching for an answer...I've had a proper look at figures and see that the OTR price is inclusive of discounts on the order form so I shall be paying extra car tax! I do think it should have been uprated with inflation since inception, 40k isn't a lot these days!

VED/£40k
Hi, apologies if this has been asked several times before! I thought the 1.5 petrol SE L I just ordered would be subject to the additional road tax, however Parkers table online says no (I don't know when the price crept above 40000 so might have been true in the past?) Also, my OTR price on the invoice is under 40000, but am I right that this doesn't matter, it's based on brochure price? Car should be here mid Sept, can't wait!

Do dealers want to sell anymore?!
We're looking to buy our 6th Skoda and oh my goodness I can't believe the number of dealers who just don't call/email back. It is so frustrating. We use the brokers to get a sense of what is achievable, share current car conditions etc. I'm not sure if they don't bother letting you down gently any more etc. In saying that, it includes dealers who are advertising on Auto Trader with decent prices! I've also noticed that some dealers just ring out, are there no receptionists any more? I was just wondering about other folks' experiences - is it a post Covid thing? Generational thing? Just me (getting old or seen as a waste of their time)?

What's this? (mobile related)
Hi all, Bought a 1.5 petrol SE however it was not really meeting our needs, so have switched to a gorgeous 2 litre diesel SEL DSG, what a lovely car 😀 It comes with this pad thing, and I'm not sure if this is just some kind of wireless interface or can actually charge my phone? Any info appreciated. Cheers

New Kodiaq arrived...MY21 query!
Rollers. £600? Think I'll stick to paths well worn then! I just can't get over how tall the cabin is!

New Kodiaq arrived...MY21 query!
Hi all, Kodiaq arrived this week...I think it is MY21 given the steering wheel? I also have USB-C chargers. Although it's SE, there is a sat-nav button (see photo)...I wonder if it's now as easy as asking for it to be activated? Lots to explore in new car...kids love it too!

£500 tax ?
I was shocked to learn that the OTR price of a Kodiaq included £540 VED in year 1! I currently pay £20 🙈

is this a good deal?
I tried to get SE Drive but apparently there are none! I did think I saw some in stock on a PCH site, but maybe Skoda keep them in a pool for those type of companies. I think I'll take the SE as it's in stock and I'll get the extra 3 months...although dealer has gone quiet since I told her on Sunday I'd go ahead(!)

is this a good deal?
I am also saving 23% I think, looking at the cost of the car...23% off an Edition is great, but not within my budget!
-
is this a good deal?
So how does that work with the deposit contribution and 3 months payment holiday? If the car arrives after 30 Sept?
-
is this a good deal?
It has been really difficult finding 1.5 petrol cars in stock...everyone wants to offer diesels at over £400 per month!
-
is this a good deal?
Can you control it on screen or do you need to stop and use your phone?
-
is this a good deal?
And yes I plan on it too. It took me a long time to realise that under HP I don't own the car any more than under PCP! I use PCH and PCP these days all the time.

is this a good deal?
Which dealer was that? Lack of front sensors and sat nav are my biggest issue tbh

is this a good deal?
Story of my life! I was factoring in the 3 months free as a good deal. I'll look at brokers for a higher spec model I think. Thanks everyone

is this a good deal?
Hmm...it's the equipment that I'm not sure about...maybe back to the drawing board! He's comparing to his Karoq payment, but he's got the bells and whistles! Cheers
