Resurrecting this because I seem to have this issue in my drivers door. None of the part numbers are coming up on ebay, does anyone know if its a dealer only part? I'm half tempted to just poke a drill bit through the current seals and see if that sorts it.

Hi, Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere I've done a search and I think i'm being confused by various bits of terminology and don't want to get the wrong value for the wrong bolt. I'll be changing discs and pads on my 2012 VRS diesel estate shortly thanks to ECP doing 50% off just now. Basically, I'm looking for the torque values of all the bolts that i'll need to be taking off and putting back on again. Going to put them onto a spreadsheet and save it on the computer. Any help greatly appreciated.

I done the running water down the window with the door open test and the only drain with water coming out was the one nearest the hinge. There didn't appear to be any between the door card and door at the bottom. The top of the door on the inside and on the car itself does seem to get excessively wet after rain. Apologies if I sound like a bit of a simpleton here but I really am quite ignorant when it comes to things like this.

Hi folks, My 2012 diesel VRS has started to give a juddering feeling through the pedal when accelarating from 50mph to 60 and then it disappears. The car itself doesn't judder or anything it's just felt through the pedal and I've not noticed it in any other gears. Does anyone have any idea what it might be? I can't help but think that it feels expensive.

Didn't want to start a new thread so I'll ask here. I've just fitted LED bulbs to the interior of my 2012 Octavia VRS. When I unlock the car they come on but when I get in and close the door they stay on. I've checked the overhead switch is in the correct position. Am I missing something?

Cheers jme, Just phoned the garage and taking it in on Wednesday. Just wanted to save a garage bill. Obviously i'm not expecting a loan of a key for nothing.

Yeah, it's stamped on the hex end of the key. Where you would put it on the wrench. Might be hard to make out if the key is grubby.

Hi folks, I attempted to change from winter wheels earlier and couldn't because my locking wheel key is chewed up. I couldn't get a replacement from the dealer because they don't make one with a letter P. With a baby due in 2 weeks i'd like to avoid a garage bill so I'm wondering if anyone relatively near to Paisley has one I can borrow if I drive to them? I've already bought replacement locking bolts. Any help very much appreciated.

Yeah, that's my plan but it's blowing a gale and peeing down today. My plan was to fit 4 but I couldn't stretch to that at the time.

I think the local constabulary would have a different opinion. Cracking photo mind you, wish I had that snow up here.
