At the end of January, and after almost 10 days without using the car, I wanted to take out my glasses that were inside. When I put my hand on the handle, the latch did not open because the car battery was very low. I waited a moment and tried again. At that moment I managed to open the door and I could take out my glasses. Once inside the car, I tried to start the car, but as expected, it did not start. I got out of the car, closed the door and didn't activate the latches. And I went on vacation 10 days. When I returned, I bought a new 760 CCA battery, quite expensive. I installed it following the respective instructions, and the car started the engine without any problem. However, when I went out for a ride in the car, when I reached 20 kms / hr, the latches were activated, but I felt like they "bounced". That is, the doors were not secured. In the garage (mechanical service) they told me that the fault is the lock cylinder (107837167LH). The diagnosis they gave me was that a sensor that goes in the cylinder broke down. As this diagnosis did not convince me, I talked to a Skoda mechanic and he told me that because of the symptoms it is more likely that there is a problem with the lock itself (5E1837015). Both parts are very expensive, especially since I am writing from Chile. I would like to know if someone has had a similar case, since I have searched everywhere and I cannot find information to know where the problem is and why it was generated.
