I'm not having a go at the Yeti, in fact I'm looking at replacing my XC60 with one, hence joining this forum. It just surprises me that, as you said in post 2, its not uncommon for these to fail. Other comments in this thread support this. If I have upset you with my comments, then I'm sorry, it was not intended.

Using cheap parts on many products these days is becoming more the norm to keep costs down. If its classed as "not an uncommon fault" there must be a good reason for it. What else would you think was causing it?
