  1. Diamond alloys in Derby £240 and satin black
  2. had the alloys powder coated in satin black. Also debadged to rear but I can't decide if I like it plain
  3. thanks your right the Vega alloy in all black, they look different without the polished edge, not sure how I ended up on the Octavia threat though, age thing
  4. HI thinking about going all black however I have seen these but cannot find them on the web, they look genuine Skoda but could be a VAG copy. . Any ideas? TIA
  5. Enclosure size (BxHxD) 190 x 70 x 280 mm is about the maximum size
  6. If it helps I have fitted an underseat subwoofer on the passenger side of my MK3. It's harder to fit than my previous Mk3 Octavia (removing the glovebox and space behind) but it's exactly the same as a great guide you can find on the Octavia 3 forum. The Connects 2 harness used in that forum again fits perfectly. Be careful of the size of the sub as the flat floor below the seat is limited. I used the Kenwood Car Audio KSC-SW11 150W active underseat subwoofer. Run the cables under the carpet to the fuse box, one live and one ignition live. You will find an earth point below the carpet or under the plastic door trim. Tap into the front speakers (I used the harness to complete this out of the car). I ran the remote to the armrest. Discrete and gives the bass you crave.
  7. your right its the radar, the mount, grille, bonnet, plastic panel and plastic radiator frame, all hight up as he drives a land rover. Warning light for the ACC and stop start disabled. At a guess I am thinking about £3000 and I will need to notify my insurance anyhow. He's obviously reversed and floored it. thanks
  8. He's offered to just pay but the more I look at the parts and prices I think it may have to be an insurance job.
  9. HI, my neighbour has managed to back into my superb causing bonnet, grille/radar cover and damage to the radar and it's mount. My radar is part number 3Q0907561C however I have found variants ending D & E, looking at the 3Q0907561D variant the hardware appears to be the same except the last digit changing from a B to a C (HW:3Q0907571C). Are they all the same only newer and will a new one require coding in? do they need calibrating when fitted? Also does anyone have the correct part numbers for a 2016 sportline grille & radar cover? I have found 3V0853653F9R and ending ZD4 (satin) thanks ady

  11. as I recall a plastic trim removal tool and from the bottom edge, they come out quite easy just pull up, I think the gator comes off allowing you to get your fingers under the trim for extra leverage. Under there is a yellow lever (if DSG) to allow you to move the lever out of park. Just take your time you will be OK
