Wife's 2012 skoda superb airbag light on, controls on steering wheel not working, we've been told it's clock spring... Anyone any idea of a cheaper fix for this than buying new one from dealership for near £400 please. Advice appreciated.

Anyone know a good Skoda breakers in the Midlands or that would post parts please ? Needing a Octavia MK1 drivers door lock mechanism with cable if possible ? Thanks Paul

My car is a 2012 Skoda Superb 1.6 tdi Elegance Estate, mileage now 104.000 and still driving like new. My only minor annoyance is as stated above Bonnet catch wrong side but the worst thing is probably just my car. When i get up to 65 to 75 mph there is a slow humming noise sounds like it's coming from the front drivers side wheel, I have had it in to several garages and had wheel checked for balance and warping and also wheel bearings etc but everything checks fine. i even put 2 brand new michelin tyres on the front and can't get rid of the noise..... Any advice would be much appreciated.

I have the same problem, in my 2010 Octavia the bolero had a mute by pushing the volume scroll wheel, now i have a 2012 Superb with the Columbus both of which i thought were upgrades but now i'm not so sure. I guess once i get used to it it'll be ok.

Hi I have been into VW Skoda etc for about 8 years and am really happy to have found this site, So much useful info by people in the know. I had a 2010 Skoda Octavia 1.6 tdi elegance estate for the past year with no problems to speak of and yesterday managed to purchase a Black 2012 Skoda Superb 1.6 elegance estate. It's Huge and has great spec, My partner owns a 2002 Skoda Superb 1.9 tdi with 150.000 miles that still runs like new. Looking for to contributing to the site. Paul
