  1. Hi Everyone, I never got round to sorting out my beloved superb and it has been sitting in my garage for a good few years now. This was my first Skoda and I've had four since! Alas, its time to move on (and the missus wants it gone too). As per my previous post, I have neither the time or space to break it and would therefore like to offer it as a whole car for an enthusiast who has the resources to get her back on the road again. I know these cars are getting rarer and rarer. It is the fateful 2.0PD, however I got the bored-out shaft fixed in 2015 which gave me a few extra thousand miles. In 2016 I had some undiagnosed clattering coming from the rocker cover and ran out of funds to sort it out. Its been garaged ever since. Typical Spec: 2.0 TDI PD Elegance 6 Speed Black Magic Paint - Chrome Trim Walnut Trim Electric full leather seats, heated front & rear, 3 memory presets and will adjust mirrors during reverse. 17" alloy wheels Electric Window all around Read Seat boot access with rare Ski protector bag. Bi-xenons Sat Nav (Requires Disk) 6 CD Changer Multi function leather steering wheel Cruise control Red Cat vision ambient lighting Footwell Lights Rear parking sensors Umbrella in rear door Climatronic Auto dimming rear view mirror Puddle lights Full Spare Tire Rear Seat Umbrella There are various imperfections in-and-around the car as would be expected with its age. (Paintwork, Alloys...etc) As its a non-runner it will need to be collected. Happy to answer any questions and also for anyone to come and have a closer look. *Reduced to £500* Many thanks.
  2. Hi Jamie, The money sounds tempting but as you deduced, I have neither the time or space to conduct such a task! I'll be posting the car to be sold as a whole on the classifieds section,
  3. Hi Gaz, Thanks for the positivity, I agree it would be much better to sell as a whole to someone who could do some good, it would be a shame to see it on the back of a scrap wagon when theres a fair bit of car still there!
  4. Hi Everyone, I have a kitted out non-running Mk1 superb elegance that has been sitting in my garage for the best part of 4 years. It was the love of my life and owing to its spec I did not want to get rid of her! She had the fateful 2.0PD fault which I ended up fixing and got a few more thousand miles on her. However there was an unnerving (Undiagnosed) clatter from the cylinder head so I assumed the worst and shes been sat there ever since. I am now the proud owner of a 2017 superb and feel its time to move on to another project and cut the nostalgic chains. The question is - Do I scrap or do I attempt to break her? I feel there's a good few parts which I would happily sell for a reasonable price. It would be ideal for a MK1 enthusiast for those who have the time to pop round and wrench them out, e.g Full heated leather seats for front and back, wooden interior...etc. I'm based in the midlands. What have other people done in the past. Is it really worth all the labour and effort? Just wanted to take the opportunity to gauge the interest. Many thanks,
