  1. Can anyone tell me please Is there a fuel pump in addition to the sender unit in the tank on the low pressure side on a Skoda Octavia 2015 TDI 2.0 automatic
  2. Thanks for the reply have you any ideas why it could be doing that to the pressure I’m beginning to think it maybe that the replacement pump is faulty or a faulty ECU
  3. Hi I have a skoda octavia elegance TDI CR S-A my glow plug lights came on and there was a bubbling noise coming from diesel pump send/feed unit it then went into limp mode. After restarting engine it seemed to clear then came back on again. I changed the diesel feed part from the tank same symptoms came back within 3 days and now it’s the same problem it starts and splutters and makes same noise again and goes into limp mode. It’s now been on a diagnostic and it said glow plug problem should I change them?? It also said I have insufficient diesel pressure any ideas on what it could be or what to do next?? Thanks in advance

  5. Hi all, Ive always had 1.9 tdi Skoda Octavia I’m looking to buy another my current one gave me 330k miles. Ive seen an Octavia 1.6 2015 diesel one owner from new full Skoda service history 121k miles serviced every 10k. It’s £5500. Any opinions on what pitfalls etc I should be looking out for etc greatly appreciated as it’s a 500 mile round trip to go and see it. Are these a trusty car mileage wise it’s a 16 valve engine and I’m wondering if it’s as good as the 8 valve 1.9tdi...... THANKS IN ADVANCE
  6. Think we will try the blocked pipes solution first then if theres a chance we dont need to change the pump
  7. Also when the oil light came on and I checked it the oil was on minimum so Ive topped it to max and light has stayed on could I have damaged the pump by only having minimum oil in it for a period of time? @moley
  8. Hi My oil light came on this morning, topped up the oil its stayed on, have taken oil cap off and slightly revved engine not many oil spots coming back up. Loos like I will need to change oil pump would be grateful if anyone can direct me to a tutorial to view online before I attempt the job or any other suggestions as to what it might be before I change the pump. It is an ASV engine on a 2003 Skoda Octavia 1.9tdi model. Thanks

  10. So if I download VCDS and use that hopefully it will work. I have a KKL VAG-COM for 409.1 lead will that suffice??

  14. So just to clarify are you saying swap the pumps?
  15. Long story short bought the 2002 believed it was a good engine and it was goosed but the 2003 engine is fantastic so swapping 03 engine into 02 body as the body is very good on 02.
  16. Hi yes swapping with another ASV just a year difference.
  17. Could I put everything original back and swap the pump would that fix it. And thanks for all your help
  18. I thought you had to change the ECU to match the engine code. I changed the slip ring, barrel and ECU.
  19. Yes thats what I have got. I have not changed the body ECU over.
  20. I am using the 2003 key with the barrel changed ECU changed and slip ring................... @KenONeill
  21. I have a skoda octavia 2002 tdi 1.9. I have changed the engine from a skoda octavia 1.9tdi 2003. I have changed the ECU's over slip ring and key barrel. Now when I turn on the ignition the immobilisor light is on and the engine will not start although it turns over. I have done disconnection for 40 minutes and then tried to start it again but still light is on for immobilisor. Its a real head scratcher. I bought the vag com lead from ebay and tried that but nothing. its now driving me mad. Any ideas would be massively appreciated. Thanks
  22. Hi I have a skoda octavia 2002 1.9tdi with 100k miles on. it is blowing out white/grey smoke when I start engine or rev engine. Can anyone advise if it could be the head OR the rings as I dont want to go and do the rings if its the head and vice versa. Any information greatly appreciated.
