Hi there. I'm Ehab Mobarak from Egypt. I have Skoda Felicia 1996 of VIN : TMBEEA614T0242771 Will it has some modifications such as : changing engine from 135 to 136M with carburetor fixed on. changing gear box from 10S to 14SK. These were the major changes, the rest is regular maintenance.

The level from Min. to Max is One liter of oil.

I changed the shock absorbers only where I had one shock absorber makes negative camber angle in the right hand side tyre so I changed the both sides with new ones

So that is strange to be happen when I replaced struts without alignment, the tyres were worn from the inside edge the only thing i did was changing the struts and both tyres at the same time were worn and after exchanging them and alignment there was no wear. Is that related somehow with struts or that the previous alignment was done on the old struts where they were not straight ? I don't know .

Do I need to align my tires after I have my struts replaced for skoda felicia ? and why?

If you allow me as Egyptian I would say that felicia owners in egypt is not few and there is a forums and groups with hundred members just for felicia and we have used and new spare parts of it but the problem is few mechanics who understand it the car is great in many things and reliable if you search for groupsof skoda felicia on facebook you will be surprised . I love this car

Well this relation worked with 135 engine and 10s gearbox 4.12 final drive ration and also for 136M engine and 14s gearbox 3.83 final gear ratio that what happened with me

Well for me I never tried to make a test procedures for the cluch grip but I can measure it with the relation between the speed and rpm of the car while driving for example at the fifth gear the speed is 100 and the rpm is 2700 rpm also it is matter of feeling of the car performance and respond sorry that I don't have a specified method for that Thanks

They are made by citizens themselves to reduce the cars speeds each time an accident happen a road stops are made. I'm not only mad I'm suffering all the way also on the other hand the authorities don't do anything to fix these roads even they link between towns they are inside roads and does not matter. in such 27 km and 54 road stops of all kinds the fuel consumption of the car is about 9.5 km/l and on a normal road without all these stops it make about 12.5 km/l do you think that is poor, fair, good or what??????
