  1. Well it's not done it again I have no clue what it was so hope it was a one off ?
  2. Got the widow all working again the ebay part fit no bother
  3. Checked my wires and earth terminals etc all seem ok ?
  4. Wonder if it's why my battery light come on the other day ?

Filled my 1.9tdi up with diesel went to set off again and nothing completely dead pushed it to a parking bay , still nothing opened bonnet couldn't see anything amiss tryed it again worked fine and has done since, the clock has reset to 0 mpg same ect , were do I start trying to figure it out battery terminals ? It's a strange one
  6. Just had the door card off and a quick look mine is also riveted, and looks like the cables have all tangled around the motor, I will order one off Ebay and hope for the best with it I think

  9. Thank you peat , so I will need the whole window regulator? Is they a best place to get one from ?
  10. Last night while putting my window up I heard a crack and the window dropped about an inch then wouldn't move I will strip the door down at weekend if I have time , has this happed to any one before or dose any one know what I will find ? Thanks
  11. Put my led light bar on off my old fabia wired though a relay to the hi beams,
  12. I will have a Google what that is and how to do it peat , Is it the clutch in the alternator or in the pulley next to it paws? Thanks for your replies
  13. On the way to work this morning my battery light come on for maybe only 1 minute then went off car started tonight fine and iv just done a 60 mile trip no problem lights on heater fan on etc , is it something I should be worried about?
  14. I did it in may on my bike was epic was 20 degrees every day and not one drop of rain couldn't of been better

Thank you It looks like it comes from the right hand side of the engine goses though a couple of connectors then along the bulkhead and in to the cabin ( I will look again to be sure tomorrow) I have already shortened it at one end but its also perished at the connectors and they look like they have already been shortened and electric taped up at some point

  19. Anyone know the part number I am struggling to find a pipe
  20. When I got my fabia the vacuum pipe was spilt at the end I cut and rejoined it , it was quite perished now I can feel it not working again Can you still buy the pipe ? Iv had a look on Ebay but can only find second hand, I cant quite see were the other end goes looks like in to the bulk head ? Thanks in advance

  22. I sold my old 1.9 comfort estate because the sils had rotted out not quite as bad as yours I sold it to a bloke who could weld about 5 years a go and it's still on the road now so it can be done
