Hello, my Karoq 1.5 TSI DSG is coming up for three years old, Skoda have offered me extended warranty at £204 per year with a £100 excess. Is this good value? Have any other members used this warranty or have experience of other warranties? thanks in advance

I was trying to navigate to a location, whilst driving in Spain. the location did not show up on navigation, so I thought I would use google maps using apple car play, as I had done before. I entered the precise location on google maps on my phone, connected the cable to the car and pressed start. The screen (on the car) showed that the iphone was connected and starting apple car play. Then the screen went black. I have tried another cable,with the same results. I have done a soft reset of the head unit, same result. I have removed my car from carplay on iphone i have re connected car to car play. still a black screen! What am I missing?

the battery was tested by Halfords and an independent company. both gave the same answer. there is no light from the hazard switch.

Hi, I have a 2010 Octavia 1.4 tsi estate. recently the battery keeps going flat when the car is not used for a couple of days. I have had the battery tested and am told that it's state is good. I looked around the forum for answers (I'm not an electrician) and I have tried to test for amps with the earth lead on the battery disconnected. I'm not sure I was doing it right? I have disconnected my aftermarket radio to see if the radio was causing the drain, but the battery still goes flat. Where do I go now? any answers/ experts welcome. Ron

Hi I'm going to fit a tow bar (detachable I hope) to my 2010 octavia estate. I have reversing sensors fitted do these cause a problem? Do I have to remove the bumper? Do I have to cut the bumper? any issues with the electrics? Thanks in advance R

I have just bought a 2010 Octavia elegance 1.4tsi estate. Adjacent to the front fog lights there are additional lamps which do not appear to do anything! I have turned on all of the lights including fog lights and these additional lamps still don't illuminate. I have read the manual and the section on turning on drl's by switching on ignition and pulling the lifting the indicator stalk doesn't do anythin has anybody got any bright ideas. er excuse the pun!
