I have covered first 10 000km and the gearbox/throttle response is annoying me. If I drive in D mode, moderate accelerator press does not give the response I would expect from a 280HP car, I have to push harder and the gearbox kicks down and the car pulls too hard than I need (city driving situations). Does anyone knows if there is a way to improve this without voiding the warranty? S mode changes gears too late for comfortable driving (it is great if you need to drive more agressive though).

Took mine from the dealer last week. Already covered 2000km and I may easily tell that it was worth waiting 16 months The car looks great, very comfortable drive with DCC, interior and boot space is simply unbeatable. The sound insulation (acoustic side glasses in front included) is miles better than my previous Karoq, but it is still quite noisy from the wheels (additional insulation may be done here). The 2.0 TSI 280 engine does not need any further comments: overtaking is as easy as in a video game, acceleration is brutal. Really easy to loose a drivers license in only a few seconds

Hi all, Does anyone have experience with boot liners which fits well in hatch's boot? Would be great if it covers as much area as possible since my GSD sheds quite heavily, so hair is everywhere in the boot (the top cover is removed of course). I saw a few of them in the Aliexpress, but there are basically no feedback, maybe someone bought it and may share the experience? I also found some links to UK stores, but they are quite expensive (150-200gbp range).

Finally something positive after 15 months of waiting: Superb 280 Style with options, ordered 12/21. Preliminary build week 6 deleted after a few months. Received a confirmed build week 9 a week ago and now it is finally confirmed as built and should be delivered by April.

If you do not get any updates within 2 weeks, most probably it ended in the airport storage

I asked the dealer this week about current delivery terms if I order a new Octavia. No engine preference or specific packages, but they told me that Hatch is 18 months and Estate is 24 months 😆

Is this the first build week you received? I have Week 9 hanging for a few weeks in the system, but still not confirmed.

Meanwhile the same 280ps Style ordered in 2021.12, preliminary build week 6 - now the date have been deleted and new date is unknown 😂

If customers like us with ancient orders cancel them, Skoda wins and sells these cars with generous profit. So we have no other choice, but to disappoint them by waiting 😂

What do you mean carbon build up? This was a gasoline engine, so no problems with that at all. My colleague is still driving this car daily for 4 more years.

Is it confirmed build week or preliminary once again? Seeing quite many posts recently about deliveries who ordered in 2022, I am almost sure that Skoda have no intention to deliver these ancient 2021 orders with significantly lower prices.

The factory is on holiday this week so you may not get anything quickly. Anyway, there is a new importer for all 3 Baltic states, you may try inquiring them. I do not think that you will get anything other than apologies

I am angry at Skoda how everyone are getting their Superbs within 6-9 months and ordered the car after me. Mine was ordered in December, 2021. The dealer told me that the production date will be revealed after new year. Nothing happened till February when the war started and new problems with harness supply started. Finally, in September I received preliminary build Week 8, 2023. However, the factory deleted the date and once again the new date should be revealed after new year. Launch control may be great, but I will not use it very often. What about normal take off at junction once you just push a throttle heavily?

Hi all, I have Superb 280 TSI 4x4 on order and currently waiting for 10 months without no estimated delivery term, only theoretic build date in April. Due to this reason, I am seriously considering replacing that with warehouse Octavia VRS TSI 245. My main concern is FWD since I am too tired with wheel spin off even with my current Karoq 1.6 TDI at almost every junction. Snowy winter is even worse. Can VRS owners share their opinions about traction when starting off? - Is it as as bad as other FWD cars during the summer? I really like 4x4 traction when starting off. - Do you struggle in icy and snowy roads? - What about chassis comfort? Does DCC help it making comfortable in bad bumpy roads? I also drive BMW F30 M Performance which is really stiff and drives nice, but I would not like that stiffness for everyday city driving. Thanks in advance

Looks like I am not so lucky. Superb 280 Style with options, Blind spot and rear camera being the most problematic ones (info from dealer). Ordered December 2021, received the preliminary build date for the first time - February 2023...

I believe that we are ordering from the same dealer. However, I have Superb on order from middle of December 2021. I still have no info about the production date and very small chance that it will arrive this year according to the dealer, so I am shocked if they tell someone that they may deliver Superb in a few months...
