  1. Yeah it’s not too good lol yeah levels are fine, even changed the coolant sensor and never made a difference. Cheers I’ll give that a bash in the morning to see if it works. If not I’ll try and pick up a new reservoir hopefully that will solve one of the issues I’m having! Lol!
  2. Cheers for the reply man I’ll have a look into that part for the window! I don’t have a rear window wiper so will I have a look connection going to the back?
  3. Hi guys, having a few issues with my mk1 Octavia and wondering if anyone else has had the same problems before I go trying to replace parts and that. So.. my coolant temperature light comes on when I first start the car then goes off after 5 minutes, my passenger window works sometimes and doesn’t other times, every time I try to use my window washers it blows the fuse for the wipers and sometimes the window wipers just stop and stick for a bit then start working again eventually and when they are working every time they go back down there’s a click from the relays, sometimes when I’m driving along there’s a click from the relays and the car cuts out and the battery symbol comes on the dash as if it’s stalled, the passenger heater for the seat doesn’t fully heat up, sometimes the engine temperature gauage doesn’t move from 0 but engine runs fine. Lol think that’s it. Might be that these are all different faults but the fact it all seems electrical made me think maybe there’s a nick in the loom or a bad earth? Anyway any info or help would be much appreciated! Cheers!
  4. I posted the video up but it turns out it was an earthing problem and had to give the ecu connections and starter motor connections and sockets a good clean and is working fine now
  5. I think ill just keep the one that's in it lol thanks again!
  6. still need to find out where the waters getting in as well :/
  7. the ecu connections were filthy and the starter motors connection was the same just took the ecu and that out and just put some dw40 on the connections and gave them a good scrub and started first time. ecu looks like its seen better days though so might go back to the scrappy and get the ecu from the other Felicia if its in good nick
  8. That's her working again!! cheers for the help RicardoM appreciate it!
  9. any thoughts on what the problem could be if the relays okay?
  10. yes it the same part number from the same model as mine. And yeah the old fuse box does the exact same thing. won't start and that relay is clicking like mad!
  11. Hi Guys, I recently put up that I was looking for a new fuse box for my 1997 Felicia because my last one was water damaged. I managed to find one from a scrapyard and hoped that was the end to my problems but no. I can not get the car to start at all I have uploaded a link to show exactly what happens when I try and start it. I got it going for a couple of minutes but it sounded like it was running out of fuel and died although it has fuel in it. I'm not an electrician and not been driving long so I have no idea about electrics I would really appreciate if anyone would be able to shed some light on what's going on so I could do it myself instead of trying to get it to a garage. cheers guys Phil https://youtu.be/UWSs91Fq-Vk
  12. Cheers guys but I managed to source one from a local scrapyard by luck. but turns out my problems are still going on even with the new fuse box :/
