  1. Anyone else tried this? Am looking at replacing my tyres (one axle at a time) but don't have much choice on the standard 235/45/20 tyre size so looking to go 245 too. Any other recommendations?
  2. Haha! You may be right. But I had cups which were too big for the holder too (keep cup) So this will help too
  3. What do you do when you: 1. Have a bottle that’s too big for your cup holder 2. Family members who can help with a lockdown project 3. A 3D printer you PRINT!
  4. cool does Apple car play still work if you turn off BT audio? I still use car play to play music
  5. I also have had this issue for ages (for me feels longer than ios13...) anyway it’s got to the point where the wife refuses to pair her phone as it is on max when in the house or after using the car all the time.
  6. Possibly but the factory fit ones. 2 go in the bumper and 2 are actually installed in the intake areas. (Which I would imagine would involve a different set of vents to house the sensor.
  7. Be careful. I saw a “dealer fit” front parking sensor where they drilled 4 holes in the front bumper and put the sensors in there. The sensors were painted but they looked horrible compared to the factory option which hide the sensors as part of the lower grill and probably require a new bumper. I was also considering a used sport line and very surprised that many did not come with front sensors. In the end I held out and got one with them fitted from the factory.
  8. So love the fact that we get 2 umbrellas with the Kodiaq and that the only other car I know which offers umbrellas in such away has a spirit of ecstasy on it’s bonnet! When I say I own a Kodiaq more than one person in the know has commented “is that the one with the umbrellas in the door?” Anyway as great a “selling point” the umbrellas are it’s not so “simply clever” when the quality of them are not great. I am 3 months into ownership and the one I have been using in the drivers door does not stay open. As it’s an automatic umbrella it opens on the button press but will “auto close” while in use which obviously is not very good!! Anyone had any success getting them replaced on warranty?
  9. so can buy the 2 reflector pieces without the mounting bar if you fancy a bit of dremelling? £20 is not too bad to give it a shot. How accurate do you have to be with your cutting?
  10. Can anyone post the instructions? Looking to install this.
  11. Its not been as clean as that since I bought it. The ride has not been too bad. I would say it is better and quieter than my previous mk3 Octavia vrs on 18”s
  12. Cheers the nets defiant aren’t as useful as the Octavia ones (I’m glad I didn’t spend actual money on them as they were included) i would prefer a “b” net to cover the floor when I need to lash things from rolling around but as it’s the 7 seater with the higher floor none of the hooks are actually accessible. The D net is also a bit of a joke. Why not just have a partition on the side rather than a net which really won’t hold anything? again as the plastic hooks in the boot only tie against fabric type pulls on the nets they won’t hold very well and keep pinging off. Not it really worth the hassle, a pity as I keep coming back to them being so much more useful in the Octavia
  13. For the Octavia I found the large one fitted across the boot floor to each of the 6 ground level lash points. (I had the standard boot) the 2 other ones I just hooked to each side to hold things against the side of the boot.
  14. So I was given a bag of boot nets for my 7 seat kodiaq. They are all different sizes and unlike the ones on my octavia not all have "hooks" for them to connect to the lashing points. Speaking of lashing points they are also not immediately obvious where each of these should hook to either! Any pictures of how you have setup your nets? Ideally I just want one to cover over the floor, one of the nets seems to be well suited to this with a split where I would expect to unhook when using the thrid row of seats but I have no idea where they are supposed to hook to!
  15. If I had just paid £150k for a Ferrari I would probably be ok with it! No one else would be allowed to drive it so there would be no point for another key! However the Kodiaq is a family cwr and as such I would expect 2 fully functioning keys as it will be regularly used by two people driving. I wouldn't say the cost of the Kodiaq is cheap and therefore wouldn't expect the keys to be different. If you have had cars where you only get one key let me know as that would definitely be a car I would need to avoid! Anyway it was really just an observation. In the end my wife is really not bothered but would have liked skoda to go the extra mile by providing matching keys.
  16. It does help to differentiate but I have never had any problems in the past! (Probably because they are attached to other keys!) To me it is a very obvious attempt at cutting a cost which is disappointing particularly at hand over of a new car.
  17. New car day! First question as it's too dark outside now. You get one fancy metal key and one dull plastic key. Does anyone have the part numbers for the chrome bits to make both the same?
  18. Cheers. Thought I answered all the possible questions! It's an MIB2 Amundsen. I don't have that many destinations so it maybe simpler just to re-enter them when I visit but thanks for the light reading before I wait for delivery!
  19. I think I know the answer to this already but is there any way to transfer my sat nav locations and details from my 2015 mib2 octavia to the Kodiaq? I haven't been able to find an export button so fear it's just a case of wiping clean the old car and starting again from scratch?
  20. Not a big deal. I watched a 5th gear review where they called it out in a Volvo review and it occurred to me that rear view mirror design hasn’t changed much at all (with the exception of auto dimming) it it was interesting to see some companies take it into account.
  21. Was looking at the below image on one of the reviews... Is that a rimless rear view mirror?! (Saw something similar on a new volvo and thought it was nice.
