I know it's not a classic,I've been driving about 1&half hours on motorway heading home for Xmas and the temp needle hasn't moved from cold position..... surely this not normal,what dya think is the problem? Cos it's freezing outside? Coolant level is good.

hello all,what position does the armrest dial have to be in for my mirrors to fold in via the key fob? my tailgate is not opening or closing fully when I press the key fob or when I press the button to close,I've tried the reset thing where you open the tailgate manually and press the button till you hear the beep. Still no joy

Hello I've recently fitted a front and rear dash cam but now the tailgate won't shut via pressing the button,it seem to have detected the camera so won't shut other by doing it manually. Did you have this problem?

Hello, back into skoda ownership after 5 years away driving an audi. Previous skoda was a mk1 option vrs this time im in a 2012 superb elegance 2 0 tdi 170 estate. Only had it a week,loving it so far. Got a few questions:- 1 Anyone got a 18 space saver and jack & tools set available 2 anyone got a superb owners handbook 3 how dya work the folding mirrors? hi how often should i be changing oil and plugs? ive had my vrs 8 months now and put 6000 miles on it,500 miles ago i changed the oil and oil filter,when i bought it it had just had a full service( oil,oil filter,plugs and air filter) ive seen somwhere betweem 6k &10k is ideal for oil changes but what about plugs? it has iridium (think thats what theyre called) plugs in it.any help would be welcome. car has done 120k 54 reg. cheers *Edited out for sale. hey great guide mate but failed to mention expensive to tax!! ive recently taxed mine as only had car for 8 months and was shocked at how much i had to pay,its not so bad because of the new law that you can pay by direct debit but nearly £300 a year is far too expensive.also the coil packs can be replaced by main dealer as there was a recall on them.i had all 4 changed 2 months ago.but apart from that a great car for the money.

hi ive got a knock on n/s/f suspension and im at the end of my tether im posting to see if anyone has any answers/ideas what it could be.here goes.. ive changed n/s/r wishbone,track rod end,fitted poly anti roll bar bushes and poly top mounts had tracking done all in the last month (less than 500 miles since) all because i have a knock when i go over bumps or on full lock to the left, not when im driving straight mind and also when i reverse out of my drive way after car has been stationary for a while.all mentioned parts that have been changed have been fitted correctly and torqued to haynes manual info.its doing my head in now as ive spent a few quid on parts,the cv boots are not split.could this problem be the drop links as ive changed most parts except the drop links,would they cause the load clunk ive mentioned? im going to start doing alot of mileage due to work commitments and ive got no confidence in the car at the moment.could i have a knackered spring? can anyone help?? cheers

hello i phoned alex lawrie skoda and they checked to see if my car had been in before and as it turned out it hadnt,so i got 4 new coil packs and a valet in and out for free!! well made up thanks for the advice guys saved me a few quid there...also my briskoda sticker come yesterday

My elm is always on as I run it with a de cat.how do I remove the packs?do they just pull out or what?do I leave engine running and as you say pull one out at a time?wont I get a shock? Also where is the mag? Sorry to ask silly questions the 1.8 t is new to me ...always had mk1/2 golfs.still got the mk1 Cheers
