I am also using Bluetooth audio to listen content from Spotify/Tidal android applications from my phone.
Working great. For instance when playing from Tidal app you can use steering wheel/Bolero buttons to skip songs/stop/pause/play.

Wondering how much could they squeeze out from 1.2 TSI 90bhp.
BTW. Have read an article where they have tested brand new 1.2 tsi 90bhp fabia III on dyno and the result they got was 106 bhp. Pretty impressive. Fabia got second place throughout tested cars with 18% result above declared power.

Go to settings, find mirrorlink (somewhere under screen sharing) and try updating certificates for all ML-compatible apps (only those will show up). You need internet connection to do this. Maybe it will help.

For the passenger side I lifted the battery out of the way and used a small block of wood to prop it up while still connected and it gave me a lot more room to fit the bulb.
Still involved a lot of swearing and scraped knuckles though.
Fitted some Phillips extreme vision bulbs here and there's a lot more light given.
Projector or standard halogen lamps?
-
Yeah I know about this metal hook. Was trying to do this with it, no success though... and I was pulling really hard.
-
Wanted to fit those but just cannot take off this damm covers above wheels to reach inside the projector lamps :/

First thing I did when I received my Fabia III was fit mud flaps all round - too used to the sills and rear lower quarters being peppered with stone chips on my other cars. The Skoda flaps are more substantial than the skinny 'trim pieces' which pass for mud flaps on other cars. And fitting was dead easy - screws are already in place in the wheel arches, simply remove (torx) screws and refit through mudflaps with an additional clip to go on the rears.
So no need to remove wheels and wheel arches? That would be great as Im considering fitting mudflaps. This additional clip is included?

Happens to me pretty much every week. Always related to listening music from SD card while turning ignition off and leaving car. During next start, big chances of problems with Bolero (for example Radio does not work).
-
Heloooo.
I got Dunlop 185 fitted by default when I picked up my car and tyre noise is ok.
HOWEVER, i fitted winter tyres Yokohama w.drive v905 recently and its pretty loud. Forget about driving without loud music over 100km/h.

So it might be possible to activate auto lights via VCDS. Search for light sensor under windshield, between air vents on the dashboard.
-
Not exactly.
If you have Auto Lights only (which comes with back-mirror auto dimming) and NO rain detector, then your light sensor is located on the dashboard just below the front windshield.
If you have Auto Lights (with backmirror auto dimming) AND rain detector, then light sensor is located in the back mirror.

Hello all.
FYI - Mirrorlink seems to work with Samsung Galaxy A3 LTE Android 5.0.2 on Skoda Fabia III Bolero MY15 Mirrorlink only.
Cannot say anything about performance, stability, etc. just that - it connects and shows apps.
IMPORTANT: you must have at least ONE certified app installed on your phone to Bolero connect with your phone. If you have none, Bolero will give you error messages. I have installed Parkopedia, Aupeo and Audioteka. After doing it I connected my phone by USB, chose Mirrorlink and VOILA it shows apps.
Here is the proof (sorry for quality..).
Cheers,

Hello all. Got bad news for all of ya.
Just got reply from Skoda Poland: "2015 model year Fabia models will NOT be upgradable to Smartlink". So no android auto for us.
Also, new price list was added to Polish website with "model year 2016/production year 2015" which shows amundsen and smartlink available as options.
Now need to make decision - resign (car is produced and in shipment :/) or take it and gamble whether more phones will be added to support mirrorlink/be mad that wont be able to use android auto.
-
Damn it. That looks great! Starting to regret not fitting 17' into mine with lower suspension!

Maybe youre setting speed limiter instead of cruise control which needs your foot on pedal to work.
-
Interesting. In Poland we get 15 alu as default for Style version (so brakes will fit).
-
Here it how it looks like in Poland.
1. Smartgate is extra paid (around 80 pounds)
2. Mirrorlink is included within Bolero option - if you pay for Bolero, you get Mirrorlink.
Cheers.
-
Hope so. Fortunately advance I paid is really low (less then 100 pounds ) so if worse comes to worst i will cancel my order. Though I really cannot wait for my new car so i would do this with true regret. They sell a model with no navi option and their competition has it in offer (clio, i20, mazda 2, polo, corsa, etc.). Resolving this should be among their top priorities.

Hello all and greetings from Poland. Decided to register on Uk forum, as Polish is pretty much dead . As for Mirrorlink. I have a Fabia to be delivered to dealer on May 22nd. I recall it to be manufactured on week 18. And i got a real headache with this mirrorlink roumors, as I paid extra for Bolero radio and face possibility that it will be useless. How do you think. Will Skoda update alredy built fabias to be compatible with Android auto? (Btw which is in my opinion much better option tham mirrorlink). Cheers.
Daytime running lights
in Skoda Fabia Mk III (2014-2021)

Please also note that DRL's light on 2 power levels. At least the ones fitted in Polish Fabias.
Case - ignition ON.
Light switch:
0 - DRL's are on full power - this is the way you drive your car during the day. In this mode lights are veeeeeery bright.
1 - AUTO - I will skip this.
2 - Positional lights - DRL's are ON BUT their power is maybe like a half or smth. You can notice that it changes. You use this setting when your car is parked.
3 - Low beam lights - H7 bulbs starts ON to drive during the night, but notice, that DRL's also shine BUT in medium power. Same power as in case no 2.
Cheers.
