Hi all, I've been driving an Octavia for the last 3 years and decided to upgrade to a superb l&k 220 petrol blue with beige interior. Got one of the last ones from stock (reg18) for £25k (£8k off list price). Picking it up from Fareham on Friday.  Can't wait!

Skoda just pronounced 2015 winner of JD power survey most reliable car beating the premium brands as well as the other VW group manufacturers (who didn't fare that well).  See today's MSN news for article.

[VRS TDI estate vs BMW 320d touring]

Interestingly Skoda outperforms BMW for driver satisfaction including build quality according to Power Driver Surveys. Expert reviews also score it higher in every category when spending similar sums e.g. top spec Octavia still less expensive than entry BMW 3 series but better in performance, economy, practicality and not much separating them in quality, as Skoda has made great strides forward here. Either way I'd rather have a top spec Octavia (and I do) on a 0% pcp. Plus they threw in free adaptive cruise control, park assist, winter pack and race blue paint. Try getting a BMW dealer to do that.
